It use to be but now that they have dispensers who knows what they fill them with.

Of course we would love to sail on the new Sun but in the mean time until most of the crowd gets it our of their system and prices settle down we'll be taking advantage of the lower prices on the older ships. 😉

And what were the approx. percentages of people who complied? If it was anything like our cruise where it was mandatory in the theater and elevators- not many.

We've never seen lobster at the buffet on the same evening as in the DR but one time before the shutdown they did have left over tails the next day at lunch time in the buffet. People in line were going crazy for them, filling their plates, that is until they tasted one. Most went into the garbage cans after the first bite.😝

My opinion is that the bad reports had a lot to do with the location of the ship and not so much with the number of passengers. Although last March/April the did have less passengers then they do now, my experience was always good at any time of day for streaming. 2,3,4 AM or 11 AM. Plus using Zoom at 2 PM on a sea day, it didn't cut out even 1 time. I can't wait to try it again this winter for a comparison.

I actually had no problems with the internet last March when the Enchanted was in the Caribbean. Has something happened to degrade the service since then? I head of so many people complaining that it seems as though their talking about a different ship. I streamed movies, made calls using WhatsApp and attended a 2 hour Zoom meeting on a sea day without any interruptions.

There's not much about her that doesn't come across as being phony. Her laugh just grates my nerves.

I don't particularly care for the types of families that it attracts.

I just received another advertisement this morning with that $100 shore excursion credit as part of it. at the bottom in small print it reads " $100 Shore Excursion credit per guest is applicable to all guests (up to 4) in a stateroom. Guests with single occupancy will receive double the per guest credit amount. Shore Excursion credit may be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino, expires at the end of that voyage and is not applicable during the land portion of cruisetours. Shore Excursion credit is based on the ship's onboard currency."

The ship is the only reason why we are still cruising.

I don't think you'll find many people looking for the smallest luxury ship to sail on these days. It's a rare breed.

Princess has unofficially relaxed their dress codes for everyone so there's no reason kids would be held to anything different. Let them wear shorts & T shirt to every dinner and don't worry about it. On formal nights just a pair of any long pants with a dress shirt/Polo will suffice.

There's nothing wrong with it but you have to be prepared to wait to be served. Don't forget to ask for everything you want when you place your initial order or it will involve the waiter or assistant going back to get it. It's just to slow for me. I can go to the buffet, get the same things in 1/4 of the time & be on my way.

Although the form isn't necessary I still like to use it so I know I haven't forgotten anything. Go to post #33 and it will download.

We also like the smaller ships but lets face it, there's more money to be made filling the larger ships. We just accepted it many years ago & today we don't even give it a second thought.

Rather quickly can be a loose term on a a cruise ship repair and many problems like a non flushing toilet can include groups of cabins. If you wait long enough they eventually fix the problem. Compensation is another matter.

Now that's a feature I didn't even know existed. 😄

Actually they dress quite respectfully, similar to what you would see on a casual night on Princess. (but not shorts & t shirt) Yes, some guys will wear a jacket but no one would look twice if they weren't wearing one since the weather is hot almost 10 months out of the year. The women wear mostly anything plain & simple.

Were they allowing the Elite passengers priority disembarkation?

It really shouldn't but I never of as many problems with toilet clogs on the newer design ships. Possibly a better designed plumbing system? It couldn't be smarter passengers, could it?
