  1. That's strange since the emails are probably auto generated.
  2. You might be surprised what people wear at funerals here in Florida. (including the deceased) ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. Yes, the paper patter is always delivered the night before. I never really looked at the patter on the medallion app. It's just to difficult to use. It's more convenient to highlight what interests me & keep it in my pocket.
  4. Assuming the problem is fixed rather quickly I wouldn't expect much in compensation. That ship is getting rather old and so are some of it's problems.
  5. They always include the time in the patter on the same day. i.e.
  6. I suppose.....I have nothing current to compare US sailings to. Going back years ago, everyone seemed to follow a strict dress code no matter where the ships was sailing. Today leaving from a US port, people are into a more relaxed vacation mode which doesn't include dressing up the way it was years ago. Either way, enjoy whatever clothing make you happy.
  7. I believe your numbers only reflect the Europeans who are more likely to dress up and stay dressed after dinner than would other nationalities. You should leave from a US port and compare the difference. Even the people who do dress up, most change immediately after dinner.
  8. Previously when they still were using the old muster drill routine my husband was resting his eyes before the muster recording even began and was told he must stay awake for the video. Once the video began the same person went to the trouble to again remind him to pay attention and not close his eyes. He got up and left.
  9. They seem to be very inconsistent with the email's. I received a confirmation (two times) for the first of a B2B cruise but not the second leg. My credit finally showed up but it took a second request.
  10. Isn't it great ! Now I can start the video, put it in my pocket & go to lunch. After lunch, stroll by the check in point to be logged in. ๐Ÿ˜
  11. The dress codes for women have been ignored on Princess as long as I can remember. Maybe that's why their now turning a blind eye towards the men also.
  12. I can't say that I saw any women in shorts on my trip. The dining room/rooms were so cold that my husband only wore his one time & switched back to his jeans. Next cruise I'll be bringing my sweat shirt.
  13. As will most people but maybe not with any great intent. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. It cuts our after 5 seconds or so.
  15. If you read the online information from Princess the answer will be no. They have yet to change their publicized info. If you rely on the experiences of many cruisers who have been on the different ships, then yes, they are being allowed on casual evenings. The dress code on Princess has been relaxed since the return from Covid. Specifically on the Enchanted in the Caribbean last March/April there were many guys at dinner wearing them without any problem in all the DR's. On formal evenings even a pair of jeans with a Polo were acceptable.
  16. In the past not many people would even give it a glance unless it happened near food at the buffet. Today, I think a few people might turn you in for being a Covid carrier.
  17. It does make me wonder if they wear it in their own homes as well.
  18. But they pass you in the hallways, sit next to you in the theater and ride on the elevator standing next to you.
  19. It always appeared to be either closed or underutilized most of the time.
  20. And never choose HOT drying. Just specify cool dry on the ticket. At home we use cold water to wash & cool dry always and if you're sending in an article for the first time and it's never been washed & dried in hot temp, it's almost a guarantee to shrink.
  21. Well there you go. Whatever port it was decided to let the ship operate when they were docked. Most don't since it cuts down on land side sales and gambling.
