  1. Yes, they will ask to see your passport and medallion. We just wear them to show them and they check everything and if ship is ready, you board. Remember print your luggage tags out and your travel summary when you get closer to sailing. That’s on the website also.
  2. Works great for South America, especially tour operators, drivers, hotels etc. They were all using it on our Antarctica cruise.
  3. Yes, you will just board when you arrive at Civitavecchia port. No need to pick arrivals time if you’re on a transfer/tour. It’s on the downloaded Princess App anyway, not the website version of the App. No worries.
  4. Yes, and this can vary too. We started with Skywalkers and then the next week, they changed it to the Vista. Not getting many coming to Skywalkers for it, they said. We’ve also had it in the wheelhouse bar. Just pay attention to your paper on embarkation day, showing your elite activities for that cruise.
  5. Rules are no, but you can just meet up on the ship or go in their line. Or, arrive later, after initial boarding and you may just all go through together through security and on the ship.
  6. Thanks for that. Sort of figured that’s what they were doing. I’m wondering if my Fall and Winter cruises show it, because I’ve already completed the checkin so far, green. I sure hope I didn’t pick more Enhanced voyages…😩
  7. 3rd line down would be wellness check.
  8. You can go to Moorea, where they grow orange pineapples.
  9. Make sure to post this on your roll call! Very helpful.
  10. Yes. And if you do have to wait. There are separate lounges, one for Elites and one for Platinum.
  11. That’s funny. I see wellness checks even on my fall and winter cruises on the App. Consistency…😂
  12. I see you said 2/20.., so just check for the wellness check within 48 hours before sailing and let us know if it shows up. They may just be asking at the port for the ones that are not enhanced voyages.
  13. It may appear closer to departure. IDK, we’re trying to figure out what their doing with the Enhanced Voyages protocols. 😳
  14. What does it say when you put In the voyage number? https://www.princess.com/protocol/
  15. Are you on an enhanced voyage?
  16. Do all of your checkin steps including ordering a medallion, even if it’s picknup at port. Lastly, pick your arrivals time, loaded 59-12 days before sailing. Once you pick one, you’ll get green box with QR code. That’s basically the digital BP. If you don’t get it, no worries. They don’t usually look at it. But, they do know if you’ve done your checkin. Only takes a few mins to check in at the port, if need be.
  17. They may be updating. Did you try voyage number and the booking no and name? Post that on the roll call, as someone can advise if they see anything. Did they update your travel summary or show update on the cruise personalizer? Seems past changes have come from PCL by email.
  18. Yes we do. You don’t say which port you’re leaving from. On the App, you will be able to pick from arrivals starting anywhere from 59 days to 12 days before sailing. App Personal information and documents move down to Gray bar “suggested” Arrivals click on that when it opens… There is usually an Elite area at the port, where you will gather to board when Elites are called in the very beginning.
  19. If you go to the App… #3 down Wellness Check…. If you see Wellness Check.. click on that Click on wellness form… upload documents…. IF you are required to upload a test result that can be done within 48 hours of sailing. Click on the ? Symbol Check your requirements.
  20. You should check with your TA/CVP if you have one. If booked with PCL directly, check with them. Don’t believe anyone here could give you an answer…… Except, probably not after final payment. I’d try repricing as my first choice, If not allowed, how about asking for the difference in OBC or FCC’s? Doesn’t hurt to ask….
  21. I know, right? I’m always looking to add on one end of my cruises. Seems to happen a lot to me. 😳
  22. Yes, the April 2023 drydock is only a 2 week drydock in Marseille and probably just a cosmetic drydock for the most. Looks like the April 2024 may be more extensive.
  23. 2023…..right after the 14 night TA and 6 night cruise in March.
  24. They usually get the suites ready pretty fast. We’ve usually been able to just drop off our carryons, throw in the closet, if the steward is still working on the room. I’d just plan on having lunch or a drink and then return to your cabin. Maybe stop by your muster station to checkin, takes 2 mins.
