  1. Since they are usually booked a year or two in advance, as a maintenance dry dock, not a problem. A refurbishment dry dock can take longer. I wouldn’t have any concerns taking one of out dry dock. The turnaround day should be very fast and cabins ready to go!
  2. Wwlcome back! We were on the Coral too in March 2020! Sailing was during the pause. Yes you can still trade in mini bar for 2 coffee packages. You can purchase just a wash or dry it’s $3 per wash and $3 per dry. You can bring your own detergent if you want or buy it. Use your OM to swipe the token machine. App had a lot of issues. IMO it is much better now. There are threads if you need help on here about the APP. You can also do a lot of the same on the online version. I like the App better, as I can do more. You don’t say which ship you’re on, but the shows, activities are pretty much back to normal. Yes buffet and MDR’s open, for the most part. Elites get 50% off the internet MedallionNet, which it should show that in the App when you book it. No more free minutes like in pre covid. Yes, you can still get stock OBC. Form hasn’t changed much. We just send an email with all the information required and a copy of the last statement, with account number marked out. SBPCL@Princesscruises.com Go on PCL and check the updates for health protocols for your area. There are changes quite frequently, so recheck them. You should join the roll call for your sailing, as that can help to answer questions also.
  3. They will announce rooms will be ready about 100-130pm. However, ours have always been ready. They make sure the Suites, Elites and Mini Suites are ready as soon as possible, or so I’ve been told, We usually drop off our carryon in the cabin and go to lunch. We are on by 1130-1200 normally. If the steward is finishing up, no problem, we just drop off the bags in the closet. PCL crew does a great job with turnaround.
  4. The Royal should be the same layout. https://m.icruise.com//cabins/princess-cruises-royal-princess-cabin-E728.html My friend was in E730 on the Regal and said the Vista was not a problem and she’s a very light sleeper. We were aft on the Regal Dolphin and never heard anything.
  5. 15 minutes at the most. Not long. Then go to your muster station with your medallion and check in, only takes a couple of minutes.
  6. You may have to. The ships going across the Pacific….right now, like the Majestic…have been doing self tests and showing the results to the cabin steward every week. They do say, on enhanced voyages, you may have to test periodically and wear masks. Depends on Government rules and outbreaks OB.
  7. It’s contingent on availability of tour operators, as they may add more buses. And of course, if current guests cancel. We’ve only been cleared once OB. But, it’s really just a guess.
  8. It is not too early. Send it in. SBPCL@Princesscruises.com
  9. There’s only 3 enhanced voyages left. Which are the 2 that will still need testing?
  10. If the number is not listed on your paperwork, I’d probably send a message to refunds department. I assume this is post cruise. princess.com/refund-request There’s also a link for post cruise on the website. https://book.princess.com/captaincircle/customerCare.page
  11. So, what good is that? Did taxi driver know? So, NCL didn’t have to pay for a hotel? Or were your friends driven home?
  12. Thank you for posting. My fear, it’s just in time for the winter surge. Hope it doesn’t backfire.
  13. Yes. United does participate. They had to have the form back about 3/4 days before the end of the cruise. So, go check with GS early on. Real important: Print a copy of your confirmation from United. It has to show your names, flights, ticket numbers, date. I had it in my phone, not good enough.
  14. Here’s a link on PCL that explains it. May make you feel a little better. 😮 https://www.princess.com/cruise-tips-vacation-ideas/cruise-destinations/cruise-tips-advice-and-information/cruises-that-dont-require-a-passport.html
  15. I know, right? Seems that’s the norm these days…😳
  16. You show your documents at the port, just as you would a passport. Also, you can try to upload them to the document area on the App. But it is a pain, others have tried. So, I’d probably just leave the App alone and bring my docs with me. Unless you DO get your new passports, then delete the old passports and enter the new ones on the App. Good luck! I hope you get your new ones. If you got stuck in the Caribbean for some reason, you would not be able to fly home on a birth certificate/Dr Lis. So…stay safe.
  17. Only in some ports and you have to ask GS for the form.
  18. Yes. We used it in March, FLL on Delta. You have to ask GS for the form to fill out. What airline are you on? Domestic?
  19. Princess does offer EZ Check at FLL and it is well worth it. You need to go to GS when OB and ask for an EZ Check gorm to fill out. It is $25 per person plus whatever your airline charges you for baggage fees. Not all airlines participate. Nor International flights. We used Delta and it’s a great service. Here’s one of the threads. Also probably a thread in the Florida departures.
  20. Certified birth certificates and a valid US driver's license are required, if your passports do not arrive in time these will work. Assuming you are going roundtrip to/from Florida and US citizens.
  21. You could probably get it on the Mississippi Delta Queen, but not likely on PCL. Never seen either one of those. We just wait till we get home to have black-eyed peas and ham for the new year!
  22. Latest we were notified was 2 weeks before, but others said they found out on the day of sailing. It really depends on how full the ship is, the bidding process and a lot of variables.
