  1. love this!!! We got a shot of us in front of this whale and someone back home commented, "What a lucky shot!"
  2. I don't think it stopped there at all this season due to the dock not being finished.
  3. Loved reading your review. Nice to see your photos from Isjafjord. Sailing the prima, we obviously missed that one in August. I am glad I was not the only one who thought crossing into the arctic circle, even just for a very brief time, was a big deal!
  4. Glacier Bay, Alaska on the Bliss in 2019 and Geiranger, Norway on the Prima this year.
  5. 39 days is something I dream of! What an itinerary. Enjoy. definitely will be following along.
  6. Just did the cruise in August. I would definitely wait until the Black Friday / cyber Monday offers. We booked when triple points were offered. Ive attached my review if you’re interested. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2957368-prima-iceland-norway-august-2023/
  7. @kasimir agree. I would like to try viva or later ship in a warmer weather climate. It has some issues, but enjoyed it overall.
  8. Lovely review!! I still have yet to sail the escape and hope to someday. Welcome back! This itinerary is on my list, so thank you.
  9. It's killing me I had to book a Disney cruise for next September with my mom. We are celebrating her 60th birthday and I couldn't convince her to sail on NCL. During our Prima sailing last month, I have 4 cruise next certificates to use. Next year will be Disney and then 2025 will be NCL.
  10. While I prefer the thermal spa on the bliss more so than the Prima, it is absolutely worth it.
  11. @skatie I’m so glad you had a wonderful trip! Seems about on par with how I felt on the ship. Despite it being more suitable for warmer weather itineraries, it’s still lovely. By the time we got to Norway, staff were definitely starting to mask up and coughing was more rampant. Welcome back and time to plan the next one! 😆
  12. Regarding the noise coming from the slides… I did not hear any noise and barely saw people using them. The slides were only open from 2-5pm I believe.
  13. Stupid question, but do you always sit with the same group of guests? I will just be with a party of 2. Are they going to assign us with other guests on the ship?
  14. I am curious to see later down possibly starting with the next ship what sort of modifications will be made. The ship itself is gorgeous and like what they're doing.
  15. Schuylkill is the name of the river that runs through Philly. Very cool!
  16. It’s well worth it @rmfortin. I used it almost every day, even if it was just to relax, read, and hit the jacuzzi.
  17. I was in the spa balcony last month. We didn’t have any issues in the room, just in the thermal spa with flying weights from up above. Let me know if any actually put a hole in the ceiling.
  18. @CAKEisgood was on the prima last month and they always had the waters and oranges and teas set up. Out of the ones I’ve done Bliss > Prima > Getaway
  19. It was a lot of fun. The lady behind me got picked for the showcase showdown. I thought I heard press your luck may be on future ships?
  20. I would not advise it. My last two cruises were Alaska and Iceland /Norway. Too cold and I saw maybe 3 people there. For similar pricing, I would recommend the thermal spa. They have floor to ceiling windows and watching that scenery was amazing from those heated loungers.
  21. Certainly is insane. We just did a 10 day NCL cruise from Iceland and with three extra days and this 7 day Disney cruise from Southampton will definitely cost more. It will be a fabulous trip. I just have to appreciate the time spent with my mom for a milestone birthday . Life is short.
  22. Loving the review so far! Really want to do this itinerary since it’s just a train ride away. Can’t wait to tag along. Enjoy!!!
