  1. Due to the guest demographics and the inability to very the medical need for special shoes, the staff aren't as concerned over footwear.
  2. Sounds like your TA made an error.
  3. Short sleeves meet the dress code - as long as the shirt has collar, you are fine.
  4. I would call Regent - never heard of that before and I have booked 5000 nights with them.
  5. According to whom? Did you call Regent as ask yourself? Try that and see what they say.
  6. This cruise shows as having air included when I look it up...
  7. On the ship(s), there was some comment made (by staff) about swapping before existing contract expired in the interest of bringing it online sooner as the hardware has been installed. It would be a nice thing to do considering...
  8. Grandeur will have it on the rollout. The other ships are already wired or will be wired soon but it won't be turned on until Grandeur gets it first. All the ships will have it in short order after Grandeur.
  9. Some of the crew works directly with the drydock workers. Others work in their departments doing inventory, maintenance, cleaning, organizing, etc. but they also might get time off depending on their visa situation in the country the drydock takes place in.
  10. I see my clients as clients. Each has a unique set of needs or they would not be using my unique services to begin with (I am not a TA although we offer those services as part of a larger package). The only labels they have are their names.
  11. In the context of this thread, I do not feel it is inappropriate but rather relevant to the discussion. My clients mention their limitations when asking about travel matters. They want to know what they can do and what they might need help with. A client who has accurate expectations will have a better trip than one is is surprised by an aspect of the experience.
  12. If you book onboard and your current onboard cruise was booked by a TA, the new cruise will automatically transfer to that TA unless you specify otherwise.
  13. Against the law if the driver was not on the bus? You would think Destinations would know this.
  14. There won't be any announcements on any cruise lines for the same reasons they don't test for it anymore. We are living with it. Just assume there is Covid on every ship and take whatever precautions you and your doctor feel are necessary.
  15. No - that would get them into a lot of trouble...not to mention the average age of the guests is pretty high.
  16. Excellent advice - you can stay on the bus even if all others get off. The driver will keep it running and it will be cool/warm as needed for you.
  17. Ask the onboard sales person why your TA is quoting you the same cruise for less.
  18. The $100 OBC for Gold and above replaces the free laundry benefit taken away from those tiers when it was made free for all guests. There is no other OBC given to any repeat guests.
  19. They are also cheaper than Regent and a viable option for Regent clients.
  20. I am not even sure that ships outside of CDC jurisdiction need to report cases or even have to test suspected cases.
  21. Streaming is definitely $10 and I know you get 4 logins at Gold and with Concierge of higher. If its $30 a day, you might be better off getting as concierge room...$30 is crazy. Note that you can share the single login across devices as long as only one is logged in at a time.
  22. I doubt it. The line item is government fees and taxes and it is not broken down.
