  1. They sell out quickly - people enjoy them very much.
  2. If they can earn additional money and not sail with an empty cabin, they will make the offers.
  3. One is free - additional maybe purchased.
  4. The covered amount depends on the state the client resides in. Nobody wants insurance until you need insurance...then everybody wants to know why they don't have it. Insurance can be very costly when you are older...but it can also save you a boatload if you need it.
  5. In my experience, the insurance company has said that change in ports is not a covered reason as the contract is very clear. Not wanting to go, for whatever reason (valid or not) is only covered if you purchase Cancel For Any Reason.
  6. You can on RCC with Starlink (same limitations as Mike detailed). I don't know if the commercial packages for Starlink are bandwidth limited by tier price or not. Maersk is getting > 200MB/S on their ships.
  7. I used to use Travel Guard because I have AIG at home but they, unlike their home policies, wanted way too much paperwork so now it is Allianz.
  8. I have filed for and gotten back over $400K in claim for clients - the companies I have dealt have paid what they should although some want more paperwork than others. I now use Allianz exclusively.
  9. Chargeback the air deviation fee and the air upcharge fee....they were not provided and your bank should side with you.
  10. Yep. Called for the pickup - waited 30 min. Called again - waited another 30 min. Put tray in hall, called reception, went to sleep. F&B called in the AM to apologize. So sorry, 3 calls should handle it and and I am not sleeping in a little room with leftover food.
  11. You can call for a pick up of your dishes but if they don't come in 60 minutes and 2 calls they go out in the hall and the front desk is called.
  12. You will have a wonderful time. The Social Hostess will get people together for drinks before dinner and you will meet a lot of people. I've never heard a single complaint about the experience.
  13. You get the nice tag at SSS levels and the much nicer tags at Platinum and above.
  14. I have never heard of it delivered to the Observation Lounge or to the bar....but I have gotten it on the pool bar deck before.
  15. You can deviate 210 days out. I do it for every cruise for myself and my clients....not optional. It ensures excellent flights.
  16. No...that is currently closed on all ships.
  17. There was a Waitlist for your suite and they wanted to convert it to a sale.
  18. Order after dinner for a late night food drop off if you are up until 1 or 2 AM....You can also call Room Service from a bar phone and set it up like that.
  19. I have ordered food and had it delivered to the Pool Deck in the past. If they refused, I would simply get it at the door of my suite and carry it up myself. Then I would meet with the Food and Beverage Manager or the GM and ask why that was necessary. I have no idea what the woman was talking about - we have ordered while sitting at the table in CR and had it delivered to our suite at a later time when we knew we would be hungry. They simply took the order into the kitchen to the tiny closed where the room service person sits and gave it to him. Seems like there are a lot of new crew...let's hope that is the reason.
  20. Apologies - I can't edit it - the "concierge" land packages are super pricey and communication goes through a Regent Rep and it can take weeks to make a single change. We have started booking them outside now because of this.
  21. Yep - that's what I call a standard land package. They are perfectly fine (I love them personally) but most of my clients customize their vacations to the point that the Regent cruise is just a small part of their trip.
