  1. You can fill out the attached form. Success in getting distilled water vary, I've been successful about 50% of the time. I advise bringing your own extension cord. Send form to: specialneeds@msccruisesusa.com 16026_15_MSC_SPECIAL_NEEDS_FORM_ENG (1).pdf
  2. From the US Terms, section 13: For Bookings with the Fantastica, Aurea or Yacht Club Experience, one departure date change can be made free of charge from the time the Booking penalty period begins, as stated in the above cancellation chart, until 30 days prior to departure. Any subsequent departure date change will result in a fee of $50 per person. The new departure date must be within 90 days of the original departure date. Any change to a date that is more than 90 days from the original departure date is considered a cancellation and is subject to the above cancellation charges. Any change made less than 30 days prior to departure is considered a cancellation and is subject to the above cancellation charges. booking-terms-and-conditions-231208.pdf
  3. From Seaside doing the same itineraries, it should be the same menu. You can purchase a speciality dining package pre-cruise but actual reservation date and time need to be set once on board. OCEAN-CAY.pdf
  4. It looks like the cabin rate hasn't changed, just the taxes/port fees. ETA: Actually I looked closer and it looks like they have increased the cabin rate and decreased the taxes. So what I wrote first doesn't really apply. It's become annoyingly common with MSC but you are unlikely to get the lower cabin rate plus the lower taxes.
  5. Where do you see Fantastica experience gets 20% off specialty dining?
  6. See section two. voyagers_club_terms_and_conditions.pdf
  7. From the Ocean Cay daily posted earlier it looks like Ocean House will only act as a bar, not as a restaurant. So it looks like Residence guests will get a dedicated bar with enclosed seating area and private access to the worst beach on the island. I suppose Residence guests will head back to eat with the others at the Lighthouse Bar/Food Truck or back on the ship. The included amenities seem nice, but I'm very interested to hear how the Explora crew runs the Ocean Cay facilities.
  8. Attached is the 3 day excursion PDF from the MSC site I posted. It answers your questions. If they aren't available to book online hopefully you can call in and give the excursion code to a phone agent. DI20240104MIAMIA (1).pdf
  9. You can use your own snorkeling gear on Ocean Cay. Try using the search tool at the bottom of this linked page. It will generate a PDF of your sailing's excursions. Note that the second field "Port" needs to be your departure port. It will show excursions at all ports of call. https://www.mscbook.com/shop/TAPortalExternalView?storeId=10757&catalogId=10001&langId=-1004&taportalIframeKey=MENU_EXCURSIONS
  10. It's when you leave the ship. You can use the Aurea luggage tags they will leave in your cabin and leave them out the night before. You meet the next morning at a set time in a lounge or theater and will be among the first off the ship. Usually Diamond and Aurea are allowed to join the disembark line at the same time. This is usually done after most of the self-assist carrying off their own luggage have left. Black and Aurea are then allowed to join the line before the other tag colors are called.
  11. I see the Residence guests have exclusive access to Ocean House, so are the Lighthouse bar and Food Truck the only food available for the rest of passengers? I see no mention the island buffet will be open.
  12. The deck plans definitely make deck nine look smaller than decks ten or eleven. Meraviglia-TechGuide.pdf
  13. That document is from the MSC Canadian website. ETA: It's mostly Europeans on those sailings, I'm sure someone from Cruise Critic who's been on one of these sailings will reply soon.
  14. The PlusGrade email link is very specific to your booking and incredibly complex. I know of no way to access the upgrade system without the specific coded links. I'm doubtful a MSC phone agent could "resend" the offer. Have you tried logging into your MSC website account to look for the offer, I know NCL does that, using the same upgrade administrator. Otherwise hope that they send a follow-up email closer to sail date.
  15. The Canadian Conditions of Carriage define Minors as passengers under 18. It goes on in Section 12 to specify alcohol restrictions to Minors, or on sailings with a US port the minimum age of 21. So on a non-US port sailing under 18 is a minor and restricted from alcohol. 18-20 year olds still have the restrictions of not being allowed booked in a cabin without someone else at least 21. There are some exceptions. Conditions of Carriage.pdf
  16. The US Terms are slightly different but there is the paragraph about charging the remaining passenger a 100% supplement. It's section 13 in the US Terms. booking-terms and-conditions-230926.pdf
  17. It's the generic bar menu from US sailings. Page two shows Easy Package drinks and at the bottom it shows the dollar limits of each package. Easy Plus is $10. So $10 would be applied to any of the drinks prices on the subsequent pages.
  18. The Canadian Terms & Conditions allow MSC to assess the remaining single passenger a 100% solo supplement if passenger number two cancels. The amount of cruise fare refunded to the canceled passenger varies according to the cancelation fee schedule. So if you're past final payment it's better not to cancel anyone and just let them be a no-show. I've only seen rare references to anyone ever being charged extra at the terminal due to a no-show. See section 12 of the attached Terms: CAN_BTC master_12072023.pdf
  19. I haven't see any mention, have they been using the deck three Marina area? Is the Marina lounge ever open, or just while anchored or if you've booked equipment?
  20. One perk Explora mentioned for Residences was private priority tendering from that lower aft lounge area. Is there anything like that?
  21. Boarding documents are not available until about 20 days prior to departure. You can do the web check in any time. You can also request for them send you a booking confirmation, which would show all payments.
  22. I'd call and have your Voyagers Club number added to your booking. You should then get the associated perks.

In one cabin? Or an adjoining/family arrangement?
  24. There is no minimum cruise length stated in the Voyagers Club terms. Posters here have received the meal on one night sailings.
