  1. I don't bother preordering it from special needs any more. Only a couple of times was it actually waiting for me in the room. I usually just ask the cabin attendant when he introduces himself on Day 1. It'll then be waiting for me by dinner.
  2. Do you know if all balconies can be opened or is just on certain ships? I just booked 2 cabins for myself and the 3 grands kids for next summer. They aren't connecting cabins. This would be a great if we could do it.
  3. Finally caught up on all the "Live threads" I have been very unproductive this week. Both DSB and Switched on are very very good! If you have to pick and choose which time to see them because of conflicts, pick the times they are in the music hall. Switched on Band did a couple of shows in 270 and I really don't like it as a music venue. I like for other things just not for listening to a band. DSB did a show in the Main theatre and it was good as well. It wasn't as loud, which may appeal to some, but didn't have quite the same energy as their later evening shows in the Music Hall.
  4. That is utterly awful. I'm so sorry for you and your husband... I'm praying you test negative and have a great trip back home.
  5. As Diamond I think we get 4 bottles of water.
  6. I'm a closet figure skating fan... The one on Navigator is very good too. I'm looking forward to Oasis next March.
  7. One of the things I love about following lives is the unique focus each live brings. Some will focus on drinks. Other's will focus on specialty restaurants. Some on the entertainment or Shore ex's or Suite life or whatever else.... All will have a little of everything but the personal focus is what makes each unique and special. You are right John is a pro but this has been a great one so far and I'm enjoying following. Greg's has been awesome as well.
  8. We did it on Odyssey and we might be one and done. It was an interesting experience and I don't regret going. I'm just not sure I'd be interested in a repeat performance. I might go back a second time if we had the UDP again but I'd never pay to go that one individually.
  9. Too me, the sign of a good steak is it's lack of need for any additions. A little sea salt is all I want to need to put on my steak. Your's looked good.
  10. I'll probably post a few updates here if no one minds. I still don't post much on the NCL board and didn't really want to do a "live" on that board. I certainly won't overwhelm the thread with the whole trip but a few highlights and a few contrast and compares, NCL vs Royal sort of thing.
  11. So many superstitions in sports. Years ago I had so many lucky "whatevers" that I was sure helped me win. Cleats, underwear, knee brace, pre-game meal... just about anything could become lucky if I noticed a new item, worn consistently, coincided with a win streak.
  12. Very excited. It's been an experience dealing with NCL. They do things differently than Royal and Pride of America has things that are different than the rest of the NCL fleet so there has been a bit of a learning curve.
  13. Park Cafe and Cafe Lattitudes will also have a couple of sugar free flavorings that will also help you keep you sugar down should you like to drink Latte's
  14. It is weird to quote yourself but I thought a little followup was in order. I just booked a cabin that is part of my TA's group space. This is the pricing if I had booked directly with a refundable deposit. And this is the invoice from my TA for the same 4D balcony booked as part of his group space. $374 dollar discount and my TA's booking comes with $50 OBC as well.
  15. I wonder if the C&A balcony discount would apply to a "virtual" balcony.
