  1. More Specialty Restaurants on Eclipse.
  2. On M-class ships like Summit, they usually do not allow smoking in the back near the Sunset Bar. Because of all the open balconies directly below in the aft of the ship. S-Class is different and allows this on the Port side.
  3. Happy 4th of July! Are you staying on board? Is the drink policy still the same (only pool bar open in port)?
  4. Yes I find vaping like sitting next to somebody with strong perfume or cologne. Makes me sneeze!
  5. No need to! Thanks for your thoughtful comments.
  6. Funny- Did she give you scrapple for breakfast too? Today for the 4th (I'm in PA) we will have a local treat that is jello with pretzels mixed in. It actually is pretty delicious. Happy Independence Day to all of the Americans here!🧨
  7. Yes that's about right. Or sometimes we go to the buffet and bring plates back to our balcony too.
  8. The OP @zitsky is knowledgeable about everything Celebrity.
  9. Yes. But still an option - maybe if you want lunch on your balcony.
  10. were you on the invitation list?
  11. I would expect the President to be there. 😀
  12. Great news for you as you have found other options that fit your criteria outside of Celebrity. Enjoy your cruises.
  13. I believe you but how do you know this?
  14. Pretty straight forward. It is your money, your choice as a cruising consumer. If you want E-Class then it is an IV. Or a limited number of Sunset verandas have balconies as do all suites. This is the situation for all current and future E-Class ships. If you want a true balcony, choose M- or S-Class. Or another cruise line.
  15. OK. It seems like you need to find another cruise line that is equal class for all. Good luck with that.
  16. I don't remember the names but there are several places on the Harborwalk when you get off the ship.
  17. The Retreat concierge does accept tips and does appreciate tips. They sometimes pool them and share them with the Retreat Lounge staff. We have tipped at the end of the cruise when we have used them or they have taken care of issues for us. It is not like tipping an officer, sorry. That is just a poor excuse for not tipping. That being said, it is totally up to the individual. Tip if you feel like it or think they deserve it. Not out of some obligation or rule.
  18. Sorry this is a bit different. People very often choose cruises for specific ships. And cruises are marketed that way too. Substituting an E-Class ship for Reflection really changes the cruise for those wanting balconies. The vast majority of people choose convenient and/or affordable flights and don't really care about the airplane model.
  19. The French Onion Soup and Escargot are part of the everyday "off-menu" selections on E-Class Luminae.
  20. On Celebrity there will be far fewer kids but not Adults only.
  21. If they had implemented it then we would have been so much better off now. Start teaching it in grade school and the new generations would pick it up quickly.
  22. I had a Maine lobster a few years ago on Edge in the Fine Cut. That's the only time I have seen it. When we did Canada/NE on Summit a few years ago, they still served the crawfish on lobster night in the MDR. That was very disappointing. But we had great lobster for lunch in Halifax. And in Portland.
  23. But you are from New England!😀
