Well, you can arrive at the port when you want. You can board as soon as the ship is ready. I'm not sure what you mean by "security lines" upon debarkation. There are no security lines, just immigration lines. You don't get to bypass those.

You keep saying this, but the two surface lots at PortMiami are not covered.

Orlando will be out of your way, but traffic on I-95 starts getting hairy south of Vero Beach (which is north of WPB), IMO, so I might make the detour to avoid it.

I took it from MCO to Ft. Lauderdale last December. I'd highly recommend it, and premium isn't necessary. Seats were comfortable, ride was smooth, and grabbing an Uber to the port was easy. After my cruise, I just took a cab to the station (~$16 + tip) because Uber was running over $30. You can carry on bags up to 28", so no need to check. They ripped a zipper pull off my bag that I checked on the way to Ft. Lauderdale. I'll just keep luggage with me in the future. (Yes, I know airlines do that too, but it was still a bummer.)

We were deck 7 SV on Apex, and there was a late-night DJ in Eden. The bass was incredibly annoying for hours (10 p.m.-1 a.m.). Fortunately, Guest Relations moved us to a higher deck (9 or 10, can't remember).

I don't know what your question is. Do people rent cars and pay to park at the port during cruises? Yes. Do some people stay in Orlando and some at the beach? Yes.

You can drop luggage or passengers or both. The porters will take the luggage right away if you want them to. Check-in will be inside the terminal and is a separate process.

Looking at the location on a map, that area is a bit sketchier than the row on Semoran just north of the airport. I might also worry about noise from the Beachline Expressway (SR-528).

Many times, people remove the auto gratuities and then (say they will) tip the people who helped make a great cruise. The breakdown shows it's impossible to do that because many workers are behind the scenes and a passenger would never be able to find them to tip them. But as someone notes above, do what you want. It's none of anyone's business.

It was cheaper for me to book Brightline steerage and just get my own Uber. YMMV. (And yes, there's a premium departure lounge, but also not worth the upcharge unless one plans on waiting for several trains to go by first.)

You will dock in Old San Juan. Don't know what "most people" on your cruise will do. We usually book a specialty restaurant in SJ because we've been there and don't get off. Others will get off and eat ashore. Everything should be a little less busy, but hard to say specifically.
