  1. ***** has the port schedule: https://www.*****/cruise/ship-schedule/ Replace ***** with v i n o w
  2. Always a bad sign when the expandable bag is expanded at the start of the trip. šŸ¤
  3. I'm not. I'm in the Solarium because it's quiet.
  4. "Special's" [sic]. I see HAL still doesn't have a proofreader. Glad you got back onboard for the prize: all those sea days!
  5. An IV guarantee would mean you get any IV or better. If the porthole veranda is a higher category, you might be assigned one.
  6. See post #6. This is not an approved device.
  7. Google maps can show you the distance. I came in on the Constellation last November on the TA, and it was a slow disembarkation. I might aim for the 2 p.m. just to be safe.
  8. Two one-way car rentals might be cheaper and cause less stress than worrying about your car.
  9. I found this: https://www.cruisehive.com/florida-homeport-warns-of-traffic-delays-for-holiday-cruises/116174 I'm not sure that the port itself will be affected so much as there will be additional traffic due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I don't see why parking will be any more limited than normal. The article mentions days (not yours) with five and six ships in, which is less than the 8 or 9 we've seen on occasion. And we've never had an issue parking.
  10. If you saw the Seinfeld episode with Jerry at the rental car agency, it's the same. "You know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to hold the reservation." https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6m_DeR_n72E
  11. 1. Yes, each terminal has a parking lot or garage. 2. Spaces will be available. Maybe not on the first level. 3. You can drop off first and then park.
  12. Because as you said, the Elite events aren't in the app. That way, fewer people will wander in and wonder why they're excluded. Could Celebrity program the app so events show for Elites only? Probably. But they need to make it work first.
  13. Not really. Those who booked noon flights will be affected by this one. I'm not sure why everyone takes such satisfaction in pointing to one rare occurrence and saying, "Toldja so!"
  14. To be more precise, hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30--everywhere. šŸ˜€ Regarding flights, some who booked 11 or later to be on the safe side will also be affected by this. I'm not sure I'd book flights based on a one-off. Does it suck? Yes. Should we plan for meteors too?
  15. Boarding isn't complicated at all. Couple of minutes with someone with an iPad, maybe sit for a few minutes if the ship isn't cleared, then get on and start having fun.
  16. The yellow-ish towels are delivered by the steward the evening before a port stop with beach activities. They are to be taken off the ship for those activities and returned to the cabin, where the steward will collect them and deliver a new set for the next port.

  18. Already being discussed here. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2973614-insulting-consumer-with-black-fridaycyber-week-deals
  19. Years ago there was an immigration process and one had to shuffle past officers, but that hasn't been in place for a while. Just disembark and find your tour.
