  1. Look on your cruise planner and it should tell you there,
  2. It was a very poorly written survey, and far too long, so my answers became invalid because I began choosing “neutral” instead of “agree” or “disagree” for all of the questions about two-thirds of the way through. It was a waste of the credit card company’s money.
  3. 81Zoomie,, I believe that you will find that the private tour operators are pretty aware of what the ships do and will arrange their tours accordingly
  4. Without knowing what you’re interested in it’s very hard to say what kind of short experience will fit you best. Do you want to shop? go to a museum? go to a beach? take a hike? See ruins? Do you have any mobility issues?
  5. Better her than the goop lady. Funny, they never offered any power up points for buying goop products. I guess they figured no one would ever buy any of them, no matter how many power of points they would put on offer
  6. Several factors are involved. Are you a Captains Club member that would get you some discount as a loyalty benefit? And Are you wanting to do this ahead of the cruise or wait until you’re on the cruise? Have you looked at your cruise planner to see what price they are quoting for you for your cruise?
  7. Cruise tour is several days long, visits locations on land, including hotel stays Before or after a cruise Shore excursion happens during a cruise, morning or afternoon or sometimes all day but generally returns to the ship at night Transfer takes you from an airport to the ship on embarkation day, or from the ship to an airport on December Quetion day Sometimes there are transfers which also include some tour, like you find in Fort Lauderdale where there is a Everglades tour for those who have late afternoon flights. So it is a combination of a shore excursion and a transfer To get the power up points in this promotion, you need to book a cruise tour, perhaps to go see Denali after a northbound Alaska cruise
  8. Has anyone actually heard that they are over or are you just speculating. I have seen no announcements to that effect, And in fact the most recent email implies otherwise. ”With power up points you can earn points even when you’re not sailing”
  9. I am sorry you’re not getting what you wanted on this PowerUpPoint opportunity. But I am a little taken aback by some of the responses. The cruise line are giving you something for free.It seems a bit ungrateful to complain that it doesn’t fit your needs. Maybe I am overly influenced by conversations with children at this time of year and what to do if they get a Christmas present they don’t want, teaching them to smile and say “thank you” not “ I can’t use this, give me something else” maybe the next PUP will be more to your liking.
  10. As far as I know, Celebrity (And by extension, as Azamara) was the only line to answer to any kind of program where you can earn loyalty points without actually sailing. 😀
  11. I Wish the power up points transferred over to Royal but they do not. Royal did not have a power up program.🥲
  12. Not correct for now. Today theY DO combine programpoints but that will stop next year
  13. Discontinued since restart, from all reports
  14. Would an e class ship work well for Alaska? No, because there is no Sky Lounge
  15. Because they aren’t Royal. You might as well ask why are there no slides or ice-skating rinks?😀
  16. I believe that many at all the cruise lines would love to get back to their original staffing levels but many of the i pediments to this are beyond their control, including delays in getting worker’s visas
  17. Celebrity and Royal are both different cruise lines owned by the same parent company and they do many things different from each other. This just happens to be one of them
  18. Assume you were asking if there is some other event taking place, Not if there is some sort of conspiracy going on. there is nothing going on. They just don’t do the Elite drinks on embarkation nights.
