oh each cruise line has issues with their IT. Just go away for a day or so and go back in. But I will share that Disney cruise line has issues for final check-in. Their site for that portion won't work with MS Edge. I mean come one millions of people have MS Edge. I had to eventually check in on their app and for a copy of boarding pass, I had to do a screen print. Never in all my years did I NOT get a paper copy of boarding pass. oh well. but I have heard that MSC does have gorgeous ships though.

Well this just makes me NOT want to sail on MSC. And I think that if I am in YC, I should at least once a cruise be allowed 1 guest to come in for a couple of hours to visit. Not too much to ask for a couple of hours. Perhaps that person wanted to test out the area to see if it was something they wanted to book on next cruise. Sounds to me like YC folks are looking around trying to notice who they can chase out. Keeping score just a bit. It sounds a bit snotty. It is one thing to drag in 2-3 folks in every day but just 1 person for a one time only visit should be allowed. They could add $10 or so to my room bill if I wanted a guest for just a couple hours to sample. nope MSC might not be for me.

I am booked for the Ascent next fall 2024. Will be interesting to see if any changes from Beyond.

I am pretty sure others will be in the same boat(sorry for pun). I think you can get into theany-time line or just do the Buffet at night which will be quicker and then you can change clothes and rest before a show.

I love the size of the Volendam and my first trip to Alaska was on the old Amsterdam in 2010. But in 2019 and 2022 I sailed on Ovation, and Quantum and I loved the best location at the port. PTZ Juneau has some of the best camera angle. Go onto CRUISIN web to find Ketchikan and Skagway.

thanks I think the ship might get some wind in Bermuda from remnants of hurricane. I don't want to miss Horseshow Bay. But the Freedom class do not have the peek-a-boo area to look into the bridge I don't think? Looking forward to seeing Barcelona for a day before Edge sails. So glad they got rid of Wonderland. I booked a B2B. I also am booked on ICON OTS but I did so back in Oct before prices went way way up. I mean 4K for a solo person in interior room for 7 days. OMG. For just 800 dollars more I have my 14 day cruise on Statendam next year to Iceland from Copenhagen. So, ICON is out of control for sure. bye for now

Aw I like Giant whole wheat bagels. But overall, Wegmans is wonderful for everything. Liberty will be my first time on Freedom class and then I would have been on them all. Looking forward to my Statendam cruise next year from Copenhagen to Iceland.

following along. I have always been interested in Amsterdam, but I gotta say I think I will stick with Copenhagen as I think that city it nicer looking. I am going on the Edge out of Barcelona for 7 days in August. The itinerary was better than RCI and will get to see Monaco and Cinque Terre from La Spezia. No dealing with Naples either. We get Corscia. Check out the 7 day Greek cruise on Infinity from Athens in 2024 that avoids Rome. toodles

and if I get several emails then I know they are begging at bit. I say they just offer me a price for a specific room and then I have 24 hours to reply. The issue with Royalup is most of the rooms are the leftovers next to white space noisy areas or those connecting rooms or perhaps an obstructed room. I take the time to select my room and won't change unless I know the EXACT room number they want to put me in. nope nada no.

but they hold a lot of people and as a solo next door, I was amazed at the noise level at times. Large groups of families book several rooms and then they run back and forth and slam doors. just saying and sometimes one can hear the crew bar for a couple of hours around midnight. But I did like the view out the front. My next trip on Oasis I made sure I booked Oceanview not next to the bigger ones (which are in the exact middle of the front area)

and then let us sit back and watch the other Bionic bars removed. On the Quantum class ships it is in a location with lots of foot traffic and the whole area could be better served with something else. But someone once said drinks at the Bionic bar can be a bit cheaper than other bars. Still good choice for Utopia. Glad I booked B2B for the 3rd and 4th cruise when she comes out.

I am so glad I changed my 2024 Iceland trip on STAR to Holland's Statendam. I just felt it in my bones that HAL was the better choice. Very sad to hear all the negatives about NCL lately.

I love Alesund. The town art deco is great. I took a tour that went up to some overlook over the city.

Have a happy b day. I love Wegmans. I wish cruise ships would have the good baked goods on their ships. I loved the Vision OTS for the buffet in the front and the large selection of cookies. I leave June 29th for 9 days on Liberty OTS out of Bayonne. Imagine on a ship called Liberty for a 4th of July cruise. Can't wait to check out the cookie situation on this ship. Again, happy birthday and I hope you got one of those wonderful muffins at Wegmans. I love their whole grain bagels which I wish cruise ships would have besides the boring just white bagels. Oh well. hope you have a fun cruise planned soon.

No wonderland and no Bionic bar. two good removes I say. Location of Giovannis is now great.
