  1. My limited experience is that dinner there ranges from excellent (night one filet mignon) to no better than the MDR (and I'm not an MDR fan). The menu is exactly like the MDR; the 3 course sections change nightly and there are standby items as well. As mentioned above, I'd consider it slightly better than the MDR but not a specialty restaurant. I did enjoy breakfast there, but mostly for the atmosphere.
  2. Looks like they basically combined the breakfast and lunch menus and made it one long seating time. Doesn't do anything for me, personally, but more options are always a good thing.
  3. My wife has been telling anyone considering it to stay away for many years, lol. She's too vested in the retirement system to leave though... fortunately she's finally out of the classroom in a support position where she's still helping kids but has an office and a lot less off the clock work.
  4. Did a B2B 3 and 4-night on Indy on July and doing another 4-night next month. I think Indy was amped in 2018 or so. We loved Playmakers for both the drinks and the food; the rest of the amped features weren't important to us. There is Grease, an ice show, and a headliner (could be anything from comedy to juggling to singing), and plenty of live music in the different bars/venues. More than enough nightly entertainment for such a short cruise, IMO. I can't speak to Liberty but the entertainment across Freedom class should be quite similar. I'd be happy to answer specific Indy questions if I can.
  5. More on topic, won't be on Wonder until next June, but I've never had a problem with Oasis class WJ's. If you avoid the super crowded times, there's plenty of space. Early breakfast and dinners (don't go the second it opens) have usually been quite peaceful in my experience.
  6. Perhaps Canada is different, but my wife was a public school teacher here for over 20 years and she had to do tons of work over her summers "off" and was especially busy in the last two weeks leading up to the first day. (She still works in the same school, just has a different position now that thankfully doesn't require to do nearly as much work when she's technically "off.")
  7. I haven't seen a timeline but there are reports (with pictures) from onboard Indy that it is already being installed. I don't see why it wouldn't still be operational on Freedom. No reason to install all those dishes just to remove them.
  8. Its a huge perk for me. I’m frugal & not a coffee snob. I drink cheap stuff every morning at home. On cruises, I usually start my day with 3 cappuccinos from the machine.
  9. Don't forget there's a coffee machine in the DL with cappuccino, espresso, latte, etc. No need to use vouchers for coffee drinks unless the machine doesn't suit your needs.
  10. This is incorrect. You ABSOLUTELY get 4 more D drinks on disembarkation morning. You can use them for fresh squeezed OJ, mimosas if the WJ bar is serving alcohol, coffee drinks at Cafe Promenade, bottled water, etc.
  11. Yes, they don't care about how you distribute the D vouchers. Either of you can walk up to a bar with the other's seapass card, you can order 2 drinks at once using the same card, etc. Don't worry about it.
  12. Have you tried looking for a similar independent excursion (i.e. not through RC)?
  13. You can find all current info on the RC website. July 30th was over a month ago.
  14. Sugar-free is for the pre-cruise diet, not the cruise! 🤣
  15. As an aside, since a couple people mentioned Long Islands, give "The Pitch" a shot next time you have access to a Playmakers. It's a slightly altered LIIT with midori and sprite and has a funky green color. My only issue, like with Long Islands, is that it's not made consistently due to all the ingredients so one will taste better than another.
  16. And I thought Sol was awful the first and only time I tried it in Mexico. Got no problem with Corona and a slice of lime though. Different strokes...
  17. Nice. That brings back memories. I learned how to count when I was 21 (in the late 90's) and used to play for low stakes just for fun.
  18. Not that I'm condoning anyone cheat in any way, but the manner in which they tried to cheat is beyond hilariously stupid.
  19. The OP eventually mentioned she was referring to Celebrity being full-serve.
  20. My 7 and 12-year-old nieces became quite addicted to virgin daiquiris on our family cruise a few months back, lol. On the plus side, it was fun being able to take the 12-year-old "to the bar". I got to be the fun uncle without corrupting her (aside from the sugar intake, but that was her parents' call).
  21. Thanks but mine is legit. It's in my UPS My Choice account and is coming from Tempe, AZ under the name "Zing Manufacturing" which others have mentioned is what theirs have said. It's making its way across the country as I type this and is currently in Texas.
