  1. It has been nothing like that since that video. Almost 3 months have passed, Mariner is no longer sharing terminal 1, things change, etc...
  2. I think that was a suggestion to make the dumbasses who don't complete their muster drill and get called out for being late get it done.
  3. I didn't seek out alcohol on the morning of my recent B2B TAD but other things you can use them for that morning are coffee drinks at Cafe Promenade, bottled water, fresh squeezed OJ, etc.
  4. Be warned, RT&T is a Canadian company so your proctor may or may not have a strong Canadian accent, EH!
  5. I had a similar conversation with my wife. I don't understand why the drink stations (outside the food locations like Chill Grill) don't open immediately given how hot it can be even at 8am. That said, the bars open before 11:30 and have ice water and whatever soft drinks they normally have. I know I had my first frozen drink before it was even 10am last month (it's 5:00 somewhere?) and I got some ice water even earlier from Wacky Seagull (I think) by Chill Island while my wife went snorkeling 1st thing. They had a self-serve dispenser sitting on the bar. Also, the drink stations were prepped and opened before the stated time although I can't give you an exact time or promise it's the same everyday. Hope that helps.
  6. Not sure what else to add. From 11-11, on Oasis class ships, you get the drinks I listed for free in the SL. This perk has nothing to do with being Diamond. It's a suite perk. Your suite mates who are not Diamond will get everything you get (as far as drinks) except for the 4 daily vouchers you can use at any time for any drink up to $13 at any bar. They will have the 3-hour nightly open bar and the 11-11 drinks. You all will also have access to the coffee machine in the SL which has cappuccinos, lattes, espresso, etc. Hope that info helps with their decision.
  7. Scroll back in this thread. Asked and answered. I'd eat Cococay food for lunch every day of a cruise if I could!
  8. The other big benefit that's not listed but exists on Oasis class is free beer, wine, hard seltzer, soda, bottled water from 11-11 daily in the SL.
  9. Sounds like something I would do and say, except I work from home, so I'm mostly just on the couch being hungry. No Cococay for me for a while unless my wife changes her tune about talking some time off work in SEP or OCT. Wanted to go back on Indy with one of the GGG prices next month but she's being difficult. 😠 We'd be on Cococay on my birthday too!
  10. Brownie sundae. 👍 I missed another, although this came from someone else so I can’t vouch for it… Take the pork from the taco bar & put it on a burger bun, then add bbq sauce from the condiment area for a pseudo pulled pork sandwich. (Could also put the pork on top of a burger.)
  11. Glad it worked out. Their customer support coupled with a couple other factors is what made me spend the extra $5 to use them over OnPoint, and I'm as frugal as it gets.
  12. Chill Grill or Skipper's Grill (same menu at both) Taco bar (chicken, steak, or pork) with freshly made flour tortillas (preferred the chicken and steak) Cuban sandwich (not completely authentic but pretty good) Chocolate chip cookies (take 2 of them to the ice cream machine and ask the attendant to put vanilla soft serve on one and make an ice cream sandwich) Snack Shacks (all 3 have the same menu) Fried chicken sandwich with everything on it Fried chicken sandwich plain, then order mozz sicks with marinara and put the sticks/sauce on top of the chicken for a chicken parm sandwich FUNNEL CAKES, FUNNEL CAKES, FUNNEL CAKES!
  13. Yep, we used iHealth kits with RT&T in July that expired a month prior based on the box date, no issues whatsoever. Not sure how you messaged them but their live chat answered my questions very quickly.
  14. They don't look for a CLIA #, just your name, date of test, and "negative." I used an online proctor with no CLIA # a few weeks ago, no issues.
  15. It varies greatly. My generous in laws got us that cabana and booked it well in advance when prices were lower. Think they paid $1699 or $1799. Closer to the cruise when only a few were left it got as high at $3499, then I saw $2499 I think. They're taking us on another family cruise next June and it recently opened at $3499! Weird that you don't have it available yet for January but who knows with RC?
  16. We just did one and the double visit was one of the main reasons. We loved it. Go for it!
  17. It depends on the ship. Some are RFID, some are magnetic.
  18. Yes, I took a formal survey b/c the eyeball test wasn't sufficient. And yes, I agree, it has not been done away with. It exists, you just should feel free to wear anything you want to it (within reason).
  19. And the majority onboard who agree with that so-called "vocal minority." Quote anything you want, post compasses, nitpick the verbiage... but the reality is cruisers should feel free to wear anything with which they are comfortable, within reason, on formal night.
  20. You won't be able to actually disembark until 8am or so. The regular lounge chairs by the pool (which you likely want to put your stuff on) will start to be claimed early but you should still be able to find a spot to your liking as long as you don't wait too long. Agree with the above comment about those in pool loungers. People won't sit there all day. We also enjoy sitting in the shade on the underwater bench mentioned above. Last trip, a large iguana decided to pop out from the trees/bushes and make his way to the edge of the pool by one of the bench spots and hang out for over an hour.
  21. A staff member told my wife that the current was taking people into the rocks. I believe kayaks can still get there but same issue. I think my wife saw sting rays by the cannons last month.
  22. No worries there. It looked like a virtual mosh pit in front of the DJ in the pool last month. Not my thing but that's what great about Cococay. You can chill on multiple beaches, snorkel, party at the pool, or chill at the pool. We have a spot we like that's not too far from the pool bar and we can hear the music from a nice distance without being "in the party." Also a short walk to both a snack shack and Chill Grill, both of which I'm a huge fan.
  23. All together. They did away with separate areas many months ago.
