  1. Dine my way worked perfect for us on the Caribbean Princess. We were able to book a table for two every night before we boarded. Once on board, we changed three nights to an earlier time so we could see the production shows. We did not know which nights were shows so changed them after we saw the Patters late the previous night. The first two were at a shared table. We skipped dessert the first time and our entree the second time because service was so slow. We were able to get a table for two the third time and finished our meal with time to spare.
  2. Raquel did that show last month for the first time, or so they said. She did not have to throw it together in an hour this time.
  3. We had Premier. Did not like the included champagne. It was not bad in a Mimosa but straight champagne was hard to drink.
  4. We always had reservations. There was a line for people with reservations and one for people without. The wait time was different every night. Anywhere between 10 minutes and 90 minutes.
  5. They will seat you IF there is a table available. To guarantee you will have a table when you want it, will you need reservations.
  6. Yes, also available in the stateroom.
  7. We had lots of football games live on MUTS.
  8. We like the DR for breakfast. Ate 9 out of 10 breakfasts at a table for two. In and out in 30 minutes. Eggs were always hot. Did not eat pancakes, French toast, nor baked items. Do not drink coffee or tea. Milk was always cold.
  9. Just off the Caribbean Princess. We had reservations for a table for 2 every night. One night they put us at a table in the dark. I choked on small chicken bones which I could not see. After that, we refused that table though they tried to sit us there three more times. Asked for the table next door which had a light above it. Were told the table was already taken. We finished our meal at a different table with a light and that table was still empty.
  10. My favorite inclusion in Premier is the reserved seating for the Production Shows. Leave the dining room at 7:15 for a 7:30 show. All seats are taken but the reserved Premier. They are held until 7:25 pm. We take two seats. I know there is no cost associated with the reserved seating, but my time is definitely worth something to me. No looking for a seat. We know exactly where we can sit.
  11. We are on the CB. Plenty of crew and they are fantastic.
  12. Currently on the Caribbean. If you do not have a reservation, you stand in a different line. Honestly do not know what happens after that. We have had reservations every night and have had no problems. Actually made reservations in the morning.
  13. Nuku Hiva, Marquesas. Only tours are by personal vehicles and the cruise lines book them all. I know it is not Western Australia, but it is a Princess port of call. Just fyi.
  14. Who are Stanly Bear and McKinley Moose? Something on Alaska cruises?
  15. On-line.- Check in - Print travel summary - Port information - Embarkation Port. We sail September 29. Maybe this information is posted at the 60 day mark? Saw it when I printed our luggage tags.
  16. Our documents say Pier 22. I assume the taxi driver will know where that is.
  17. I made all of our dining reservations on the website as soon as I booked. I did not have to wait for final payment. Because of what I have read on here about reservations disappearing, I check every couple of weeks to make sure they did not disappear. So far everything is still there. I made all reservations over a year before the cruise is scheduled to depart. Have not cruised yet so hope it all works out.
  18. Just an fyi, Passages for the next day is available at every bar around 8 pm each evening. We like to check it out while we are having a cocktail.
  19. Mention to your waiter. He/she will bring the proper person to your table to get the job done. They can only tell you no so ask for whatever you want. We have ordered items not on any menu, like egg yolk ravioli, and they told us yes.
  20. No. It is a normal port day for you. We also did not have to go to the lifeboat drill. Don't actually know if anybody does these days.
  21. This is how we did the Taj, Angor, Petra, Pyramids, etc. www.nationalgeographic.com/expeditions/destinations/around-the-world/private-jet/around-the-world-jet-tour
  22. Constellation. March 2015. I checked my travel logs to get the exact date. 8 years later I still remember how bad it was. It was an Osmond Brothers cruise. We did not know that until after we boarded. I do remember the fantastic free concert they did one afternoon. That was the highlight of the cruise.
  23. One and only Celebrity cruise. First morning at breakfast they refused our request for a table for 2 and put us at a table for 10. We sat through people eating first courses. Finally our food came. I told the waiter that was not what I ordered. He told me "Eat it, it is good." Table was so tight you hit elbows with the person on each side of you. Thankfully it was a 5 night cruise. Service just kept getting worse. We will never sail with Celebrity again. Probably a one off but enough to turn me off.
