  1. Curious when anyone had to wear bracelets? We started sailing very soon after restart several times and never had to do that.
  2. Why in the world would seas that height cancel any ports other than potentially tender ports?!?! Just had 10-12 ' seas on Equinox last cruise, and have had seas as high as 30' in the Gulf of Mexico.
  3. Curious how you find the motion on these smaller ships? I get seasick fairly easily and remember how much worse it was on smaller Celebrity ships like Horizon. My only hesitation in trying the smaller lines.
  4. We just got priority disembarkation in Curacao as suite guests. We gathered in the lounge and were escorted off. I don't think this is necessarily common but it happened to us last week. I suspect it had something to do with our scheduled late afternoon arrival. Celebrity excursions also get priority sometimes, it depends on their timing.
  5. It is the country that determines the process not the cruiseline
  6. Never had that issue with the big bottles. 4 pumps for hair is plenty and I have never found it runny at all. Maybe you got a bad batch.
  7. Ports are the most important for me in Alaska so Millennium wins.
  8. Sorry but you actually are definitely impacting the workers. They are judged purely on ratings and suffer seriously if they get less than 10s. Feedback is very important but best to put it in the comments section.
  9. Well you tried it once. Not sure that meets a statistical conclusion but your cruise; your choice. More room for those of us who love it.
  10. There is nothing particularly healthier about the Blu menu and I've never figured out what clean means. We are meat and potatoes people generally and love Blu.
  11. We did as well and it was one of our favorite winery visits! We got lucky. It was around 100 degrees that day so the place was empty. They were giving us tastes of their $100+ wines. If only I could afford those every day. They were yummy.
  12. I remember the Wente. We used to drink it all the time on Celebrity. We do like Decoy, as well as the Conundrum red blend. When they have it we also sometimes drink Edmeades Zinfandel.
  13. Exactly! I am going back many years with my comment, when all there was was the MDR. Not even specialty restaurants. I started sailing X in 1993.
  14. It will be interesting to see what they say. Personally I wonder who would actually avoid a GC cruise, which often stops also at the amazing ABC Islands because only one bar is open for a few hours. You rarely hit the ABCs without stopping in GC. Talk is cheap. I'm sure there are some, but I certainly wouldn't be one of them.
  15. I don't know anything about the table games. And I can only advise what I did. I guess it could change at any time, and may vary depending on your Blue Chip status.
  16. Just for purposes of information for others, I've been on ships where the minimum was $50 and it had to be in increments of $50 (that is, you could take out $150, but not $130 as an example)
  17. The machine. And I did play a bit, but not equalling the total amount. I think it can vary by ship though
  18. It runs about $20 a bottle depending on sale prices in our area, as do most wines on premium package. Do I really consider that premium? Not really but on Celebrity it is. I've looked up some of their classic wines (like the freebie our butler gave us) and it was under $4 online at at least one store! I kid you not. As an average it ran $4-5. The only really premium wines they brag about in their advertising are, in my opinion, only available by the very expensive bottle.
  19. No they don't. Only one stops in Mazatlan. Was just there in December and we stayed near the port and were fine. What would a phone call accomplish? They aren't changing an itinerary because you're concerned. Just stay onboard for that stop.
  20. Last week's stop on Equinox there were 2 ships in port. So looks like rumor, at least for now.
  21. I for one find your feedback encouraging. I have found the officers on this ship very personable and listening to feedback, particularly this sailing. I don't think they are trolling the dining rooms to spread propaganda but seem genuinely interested in making sure we are having a great time. And glad they increased the halibut portions this sailing🙂
  22. Their short ribs are our favorite menu item of any of the included restaurants. Delicious!
  23. I miss the old, old days when the waiter would bring out a tray showing you what all the desserts looked like.
