Not at all, because we happen to love the whole fleet and don't mind repeating...what is your problem? You do you, I'm not criticizing you, just saying I wouldn't drop RCCL for such a silly reason, IMO And don't bother I"m done with this.

Yes, I know, I've sailed them..............................But I'd never drop a cruise line on account of that. We consider the Caribbean our second home. Have done 27 cruises so far most in the C. and Alaska. Multiple times on the same ships.

I can see scenes from Coco Cay and other destinations being shown whilst you enter the ship, it's the WOW factor like Rising Tide used to be. Ewww hope we all don't trip and fall down the stairs while ogling the scenery...LOL

I'm good with it, we booked Wonder at around those prices. We'll save $$ for a year and pay it off, no worries!

Wow! That's the only reason you'll never sail RCCL again? Seriously! Because you saw something put out by Michael Bailey 2 years before the ship even debuts? Again... WOW I hope you find one.......

They still do, but mostly for agents and media, usually 2 day sail to nowhere circle quickies to debut the ship. I will bet they will with this ship as well. They are usually a few days or weeks before the "Inaugural". So as to get more agent bookings. I've actually attended one.

I see posts from you Brits on here every day who routinely sail from the US. So what makes this ship any different?

You don't have to be. I'm 72yrs young and I love everything about her. I intend to dangle from the anchor and ride every slide I can haul my big azz up to! I will love sitting at the bar in the swim up pool! Love looking at the aft wake from the Hideaway! Or sit in my Panoramic View cabin and just watch Big Blue without the wind and humidity! I love the placement of the mostly kiddy corner in Boardwalk so I don't ever have to go there unless I want to. I love the new Aquatheater concept because its covered from the weather, shows will not have to be cancelled and in the daytime whilst the kiddies are in Boardwalk, I can be in here! I love that they still have an all adults pool topside...still have a Diamond lounge, still have Central Park with all the birds and trees whilst listening to a string ensemble, and I still get to watch my fave ice shows! And I'm so excited to experience the new propulsion system and happy they have utilized new technology to get pristine water out of sewage! Woohoo! Can't wait to hear what kind of new and innovative entertainment will be added! It's obvious to me they are trying to accommodate every demographic. You can chill out and move slow in plenty of spots on this ship and be perfectly happy if you are no longer active. I'm thrilled with it! Can't wait till Monday evening to really explore all my options! Kudos to some very inventive designers RCCL! The truly "ship is the destination" !

I love theme parks....fun fun fun. I tried to resist the new CoCo Cay as compared with the little desert island it used to be, but now I'm a big fan. Paradigm changes nothing more. I'm gonna love her.

I remember back in the day when people were saying things like this about Oasis, I just laughed then. Now I laugh harder. This ship will be one of their biggest sellers. No doubt. But for the rest of you, there are always Grandeur and Vision and the old Voyager class...something for everyone.

I took the comment to mean modern or expensive materially. I think it is that, I don't expect Silver Sea from RCCL. It's plenty upscale in my view. Just because they want this ship to be for everybody, family, kids and more mature adults doesn't mean it's shabby. I'll be happy with innovative, fun and attractive, traits I HAVE come to expect from RCCL.

That is a matter of personal tastse and opinion. I think it looks extremely upscale. It's subjective to say the least.

We just cruised with a couple (mid 50s) who love Disney cruises, not so much kids and they said, the service is impeccable and they never saw kids if they didn't want to...so much to do in different areas of the ship for adults. I expect ICON will do the same. It looks like there are sufficient adult only or friendly areas to insure you don't get annoyed by the kiddies. I wish we had a color key on the deck plan though, I'm trying to locate the different cabin categories.

I'm prepared for megabucks fares but we'll make this our swan song cruise, even if we have to sleep in a closet! I'd like to do the official inaug but we'll see....I'm salivating for that Panoramic cabin.

Our check in was 10:30 to 11:00 but since Allure is bigger it makes sense to start a little later. You can wait early or wait late, however you hang. THere are no special boarding perks for Diamond now, nothing but suite guests/Pinnacles board first. But as I said, we only waited a few minutes, about long enough to connect up with the ship's wifi and watch the safety video and we were boarding, we went directly to our lifeboat and checked in and then to the centrum bar.😁 I think we arrived and sat on outside benches at about 10:00. We were walking through the doors right at 10:30.

I loved everything about it. I don't need that much adult entertainment, I am way too distracted by sparkly things! LOL It has an ice rink--check, bars everywhere--check, adult pool area--check etc etc etc. Good enough for me, I just won't be spending any time aft on Boardwalk.

I am so there already, I passed myself coming and going! You can bet your bippy I will be up Monday at midnight.
