  1. @Mr Luxury, I know the chain elsewhere succumbed to the rules but I was actually born in the same workhouse as Lilly Savage. Well at least a portakabin in the grounds. (St Katherine’s).
  2. Can I just chip my twopenneth worth in? Whilst the double, double post of double posts was a little unnerving, it doesn’t rattle my jankers half as much as the missing s at the end of math. I Understand completely that it’s a cultural thing but hearing that word without the s results in a similar facial expression from me as vigorously rubbing a cheese grater across my nipples.

  6. Late for me, early for you my lovely. The cooler, Lola, is a little like a Phoenix. Every so often it needs to spontaneously combust and re-emerge with beautiful new plumes. I Can’t recall without research how often this beautiful bird would reincarnate in the past but I’m sure it was never this long.

  9. I've a cat who takes on the demeanour of a crack addict whenever she smells bacon cooking but I don't think even she would eat that. Sorry Lirio but that's not identifiable as any bacon I've ever seen.

  11. I’m not really sure Jazz as without wishing to be offensive I always believed that American bacon was just a picture printed onto A4 paper and blowtorched. The offcuts of back bacon are sold as belly pork. My local butcher cures the loins with salt and a little sugar. Most supermarket rubbish is cured in brine and halves in size as soon as it hits the pan when it ejaculates the brine. We have a few different cuts of bacon here but the main ones are:- back bacon, that is the oyster of the loin with around 2” of the streaky belly. Middle bacon is the oyster and around 8 inches of the belly curled around. Streaky is purely the layered belly with no oyster and is closest to American bacon. I’ve been traumatised by many types of Bacon around the world before now. Only slightly ahead of American bacon in the worlds worst charts is Spanish bacon. I Suspect that might be made from the losing team of a bullfight that’s been left to dry out in the sun whilst they all go home for an afternoon sleep.
  12. I'm loving following along but I must object to the following statement! English bacon is superb! Second only to Welsh Bacon. Nowhere in the world does real bacon other than the UK. My local butcher cures her own. JP, I Know a good vet if you need one. Mr Luxury, I'm just wondering if your treatments are based on medical knowledge or cruise experience?
  13. He has a superpower Lirio. It's called Cerebella Hypoplasia so the part of his brain that controls movement is extra special and throws in all sorts of groovy moves on the dance floor. He's my special little soldier!
  14. It's quite clumsily worded but I read it as solo guests paying 200% get the full credit implying that guests paying lower supplements will get 1/2. I Agree it's not clear at all. Does anybody know how it works for solos on Royal?
  15. I Would think that the fact they are claiming that the price hike was an IT error they would have to honour the correct price, unless of course they are going to admit that it wasn’t an IT error at all. I’d be quite persistent on the phone with them.
