  1. The included Sancerre is extremely good.
  2. It can save many hours and also possibly embarrasing situations for anyone dyslexic. Not as embarrassing of course as someone fiddling with your pinapples though.
  3. At the risk of speaking out of turn, I do tend to find that they make for slightly less than considerate travel companions.
  4. Thanks TTS that looks not too shabby. I'll check it out. I'm excited about the whole thing Lola but I know what you mean about Uluru. Reasonable solo supplements don't bother me but 100% just rattles my cage.
  5. Haha Love it, and they wouldn't even know they were doing the walk of shame!
  6. I Took it as tongue in cheek.
  7. Thanks Lola I'm super excited about it, even though it is Celebrity!
  8. I Believe the said pineapple needs to be displayed upside down. So I've heard anyway πŸ™‚
  9. I'm really tempted but I'm Grizzling over the $8,400 for 2 nights for a solo. I Always begrudge a 100% supplement, It leaves me with the feeling that if I'm paying exactly double then my partner should be there to enjoy it too! I Don't mind so much if it's less of a supplement. Where would you recommend in Sydney?
  10. Many Thanks TTSs, I'd spotted that place already. Is it as amazing as it looks?
  11. Awww I'll have to give you a wave! Im prob flying back on Jan 30th!
  12. Quite rich, a bit like duck eggs but with a gamey hint. Quite pleasant really but you wouldn't want to start your day every day with one!
  13. I Can vouch for that! We had an Ostrich egg Omelet a few years back and 6 of us where quite full afterwards.
  14. Well I can't really believe it but I've accidentally gone and booked myself on a cruise for Jan 24, on Celebrity Edge! Fortunately there are 2 dear friends on the same cruise but I've never been on such a big ship (2900) but she does look a beauty. Usually I do a ton of research first but this has been minimal this time and as it is, most of the places at the top of the list (Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand, Brazil and Argentina) make it illegal to use a vape so Australia and New Zealand have been bumped up to the top of the list! (Aus is ok with a doctors prescription and NZ no problem). Initial plans are to fly into Perth for a few days, cross the continent on the Indian Pacific train to Sydney, backtrack a little on an indulgent pilgrimage to Broken Hill, Fly back to Sydney, Cruise over to New Zealand and then back to Sydney, a few days stay, a couple of nights trip to Uluru and then home. I Think I can stretch to 28 nights. So with much excitement about the trip along with a smattering of apprehension re sailing my first mainstream line in nearly 20 years the planning commences! My actual point of antipode is somewhere off the coast of South Island in the vicinity of Dunedin which I'll be visiting on the 17th Jan, so let the journey, quite literally, to the other side of the world commence!
  15. An unusual pairing, a bold bordeaux would be a more traditional accompanment.
  16. Will Armagnac do, it’s all I had to hand. 😁
  17. Just beautiful Lirio. Which is the small city? South America is possibly my trip for next Jan so I’m looking up options right now!
  18. Much better than Thomas. 100% Agree, It would have to be something really bad for me to do that.
  19. Sounds like a good day at the office TTS πŸ™‚
  20. Thats great to know. As long as you dont mind paying for your cruise in full 18 months in advance and don't have the audacity to expect a refund when they cancel your cruise.
  21. Nice to see you Unibok. Hope you are well.
  22. Unfortunately SS have never quite embraced the custom of afternoon tea. A few dessicated sandwiches may be aquired at the Arts cafe followed by some extremely good cakes but unfortunately an afternoon tea as embraced by Crystal in the Palm Court isn't an option. The crew don't even have an inkling of what it is. We spent a very confusing couple of hours being directed from one venue to the next when we asked where Afternoon tea was being served and having to explain repeatedly what we meant.
