  1. I'm not sure TTS, that's why I didn't quote the post posting about the post in my post because all posts quoting posts that have been removed for posting questions referring to removed posts find their posts removed too.
  2. kHave an amazing time JP. Can't wait to follow along.
  3. It was Tender June 19 on the Muse.
  4. Just a heads up but posting posts about posts being removed is a big no no. I Think it's ok to post posts about posts that post about posts being removed though.
  5. They have to follow UK Law for any sale made within the UK and this is certainly against British Consumer law. We do have much better protection over here than the US. There is a clear breach of the Consumer Protection code of 2005 with regard to the previous price. 1.2.5. For any food and drink you need not give a positive explanation if the previous price in a comparison has not applied for 28 consecutive days, provided it was the last price at which the goods were on sale in the previous 6 months and applied in the same outlet where the reduced price is now being offered. This also applies to non-food items, if they have a shelf-life of less than 6 weeks. Also 2.1Indicating two different prices 2.1.1. The Consumer Protection Act 1987 makes it an offence to indicate a price for goods or services which is lower than the one that actually applies. You should not therefore show one price in an advertisement, website, window display, shelf marking or on the item itself, and then charge a higher price at the point of sale or checkout. In addition, specific regulations apply to particular types of sales and ways of selling—eg retail sales (including the Internet), sales of food and drink which involve service, distance contracts, resale of tickets, package travel, etc. Your local Trading Standards Services or Home Authority will be pleased to advise you on the current regulations that are relevant to your business and of any good practice guidance which is also relevant.
  6. What do misers do when it's really cold? Sit around a candle. What do misers do when it's really, really cold? Light it.
  7. Who mentioned fixing them? They're just removing them whilst they sort out a warranty claim.
  8. Commiserations Rojan and drron. Thank you both so much for allowing us to follow along on your adventure. Here’s to the next one!

  10. That's a bit Gangsta for me. Ive progressed to Radio 2.
  11. I'm still getting used to the change, I've gone from a 1987 Bentley as my daily driver with a cassette player and column shift into a Jag with keyless entry, magic lights and wipers and one of them newfangled bluetooth systems. It's been quite a shock to the system. It does also turn down the stereo for you when you're about to hit something.
  12. Ive just booked mine! fantastic. Does anybody know if you can spread a dining package over 2 B2B cruises please? Asking for a friend.
  13. Be careful Spinns, they might offer you a residency in place of the sandal man.
  14. As long as you don’t stir widdershins!
  15. Oh Lola, some of them can be very tastefully done and express the quiet decorum of those inside.
  16. We seem to have sorted it now. We have a group for our cruise on the other site and have managed to co-ordinate it between us. The tickets certainly are for sale from Hobbiton and they have "confirmed" that construction will be completed by December. We have found a car service too that seem happy to take the booking. We are planning a brief diversion to Rotorua too so hopefully all will work out. I'd have been gutted if we missed out. Thanks for taking the time to respond and for the input everybody.
  17. But surely A spar ar(e) gus(t) the tip of the iceberg?
  18. Argos are notoriously bad at getting back to you these days. Seriously though, what a ridiculous excuse. How cheap must a company be to leave things like this broken instead of just fixing/replacing them and worry about the warranty later?
