During the pandemic we did 3 trips to Excellence in the Dominican Republic, at the club level. Had to twist my cruise-loving DH's arm but after the first one he was hooked and kept asking when we could go back! We are resuming cruising but will also re-visit Excellence for a resort vacation.

Oh my, can you imagine explaining that to a guest???

Also getting 2 to 3, like others have said. Maybe this strategy "works" because I do glance at it to see if some amazing discount has been offered.😂

Yes, eastbound cruise certainly beats a crowded flight. Enjoy!

We once did a TA from Florida to Rome in April...weather warm enough on the crossing and ports in Spain but they were still wearing puffy coats in Rome! The 23 hour days on eastbound trips are why we prefer westbound TAs.

This is such a helpful thread. We are elite and have a cruise only trip coming up, first Celebrity cruise since 3/2020, and I pre-purchased the internet and tips. Remembering the old-old days of keeping a lot of cash on hand for the end of the trip and stuffing all those envelopes, it never occurred to me not to pre-pay the tips. Is there a way to do this electronically once you are on board?

We just got that message for upcoming cruise! I am still hopeful but have no idea what the odds are.

Thank you for posting, we sailed on the Horizon twice in the late 90's. Our first cruise with Celebrity was on the Meridian, a beautiful old ship which also had a sad ending.

I take a photo of their name tag so I don't get the spelling wrong.
