Hi @scuba_ninja - I would be interested your review. I will be going with my extended family on a 4 night next year and we will have a 11 year old boy and almost 6 year old twin girls. I would be interested in how your niece and nephew like the water activities on the ship and the kids program, most seem to love the kids program, but every child is different. That happened to me. I booked Samba on Lobster night. Since I booked it for later in the cruise, I just kept it for now and I am going to go on boarding day and ask if they will just let me move it to another night. If they won’t I am just going to cancel it and get my $ back.

Thank you for the info regarding hotels and transportation. I will be printing paper boarding passes as well. So glad A2S was helpful to you as they should be. They have assisted me in the past as well. I do not use them for every cruise, but some times I feel it is the better option. Enjoy!

Loving the pictures of Amsterdam. Have an Arctic Circle cruise booked for July 5, 2024 out of Amsterdam and looking to get in a few days early to spend some time going around the area.

Have not been on Oasis, but have been on Allure, deck 11, Central Park, and loved it. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the music in the evenings. We also ordered/picked up breakfast, several times and ate on the balcony. Enjoy your cruise.

If you open the app, and click on the calendar I guess (it looks more like a battery to me) near the top center, scroll to the bottom and click on change ship/dates, scroll to the bottom and click on browse our ships, pick Radiance and pick a current date the is sailing with your itinerary (maybe a past one will work, I am not sure about that) and you can check the dining menus.

Beautiful pics. Thanks for posting them. I haven’t been to Ocho Rios in 20 years and don’t remember where we docked, but I don’t think it was to far from shops. It’s good to know it might be further out than I remembered if I port there again.

I understand the grouchy. In 2018 mom surprised me stating she wanted to go to Hawaii for her next vacation. Mom is and was healthy, just not real mobile, so I placed a call to my sister and begged her to go with to help with luggage and stuff. After trying to arrange and price places to stay and flights from her, ours and different Island locations (prices were quite expensive) I started researching cruises. I started with NCL, but found a much better price and really nice 12 night cruise on Radiance for May 2019 balcony for a great price. Honolulu to Vancouver. I wish you luck in your search and hope all works out for you!

I have enjoyed every ship I have sailed on, but Lady G is First Class. Smaller (not all the bells and whistles), so pretty, older, but in really good shape. I sailed on her for the first time August 2022. Great ship and crew. Would not hesitate to sail on her again. Just an FYI, my interior room did not have a cooler or fridge. They could maybe put one under the desk if it was really important to you. It was not an issue for us.

Thanks for the tip! I have a tour which I am guessing will drop us back off by the ship. Since I want to walk around town, I will want the shuttle. Otherwise, I am thinking of cancelling the tour and taking the Blue or City bus to Mendenhall. Anyway I go, I need to get closer into town.

We will be docking at the AJ dock as well. Can anyone tell me how much further it is from the other ships that dock in town?

For the most part I drink black coffee or a cafe latte, but I was able to use up an old card, bought a new one and get a Frappuccino on Radiance on my 01/2023 cruise. Glad I used all of the drinks on the newest card.

I am on Radiance of the Seas August 18th, and they move us from RRF to ORE. I have the White Pass Rail booked in the morning, so unless they move us again, we should be good. Personally, I am really glad they moved us and hope we don’t move again.

I buy the water package on the ship as I don’t want to carry it. If the price keeps going up, I might change my mind, but so far I have gotten it at a reasonable price. The water brand was TRUE the last time I was on board, but Royal could change at any time.

Following along. Your daughter is adorable. How do you like the door rather than a slider on the balcony? I have a 4 night cruise on Freedom in June 2024 with family from ages 6 to 73. Was on Freedom before the revamp, so I am enjoying the pictures of the ship. Hope your enjoying your cruise.
