Another_Critic is correct, it is Happy Hour you might not be able to attend, but you can get your 4 drinks each 24 hour period anywhere else. Coffee should be no issue unless wanted during Happy Hour. If there are a lot of D, D+ and Pinnacles on your cruise, they might put a free regular size coffee per day on your card for use at Latitudes. We did not get the notification from Royal that they had done it, but the crew member at the register asked me if I wanted to use it when I went for coffee (which was very nice of him). The coffee from the machine in the Crown Lounge is drinkable, but Latitudes in my opinion is better, again this is my opinion only, but I drink Starbucks coffee. There are a lot of people that do not like it. They do not always do this, so it wouldn't hurt to ask if you are interested. @2chiefs is also correct, great views from the lounge. Enjoy your cruise.

I am 366 days out and only showing some exceptions so far. I will say only a couple of excursions we're in for quite a while and the last couple of months probably a few every once in awhile.

As long as they still let me in to hit up the coffee machine in the morning, I will be ok not getting in for happy hour as I don't usually drink at it anyway, but I will miss some of the appetizers. If my next 2 cruises go as planned I will be back in after they are over unless more changes are on the horizon.

Thanks, that’s good to know. They used to offer it at the beginning of a cruise and probably thru it to the end. I have a family cruise in June 2024, so will watch for it.

Years ago, I used to get the drink card (10 drinks) for a specified amount. I used to like this, but haven’t seen it offered for years. I never felt the UDP was worth it for me.

I am so sorry to hear of your grandfathers passing, but as you mentioned, his pain is over and you can take comfort in that and your wonderful memories.

Following along. You will let me relive my Alaska Cruise on Radiance, I got off in Vancouver on 8/25/2023. What a great cruise. Hoping you will enjoy yours as much as I did mine. Will be cruising to your home soon. Cape Liberty to Quebec City with several stops in-between on Jewel of the Seas late September into October and spending a couple extra days in Old Quebec before returning home. Will be flying out of Quebec City so your comments regarding the ease of using your airport make it sound like a good decision. Enjoy your time in Vancouver and your cruise!

@bruce85 You can be use RC credit card points to purchase onboard credit, which can be used toward purchase of a drink package.
