I think there needs to be an addendum to the perks .... like 1-3 day cruises just get a proportional amt. 1 day - 1 water, 1 liquor, 1 soda 2 day - 2 waters, 2 liquors, 2 sodas 3 day - 3 waters, 3 liquors, 3 sodas 4 day - 4 waters, 4 liquors, 4 sodas 7 day - full minibar Ridiculous to give a FULL minibar for an overnighter

I hear what you are saying BUT the switch didn't work on a 3 day cruise. It worked on cruises longer than that. So as long as your cruise is 5+ days you're good.

On the Royal Princess GSD requested that i ask my steward or crewcall chat. So I'm going to ask my steward directly as well as crewcall chat ..... but this explains why there's no switch out on short cruises.

There were 1250 Elites on my last cruise. Then add in the suites. A lot of work for what could be 1500 individual setups of 20 mini bottles & cans. HOWEVER there should be a way to select just 1 bottle wine -- specify white / red / or rose Princess chooses white / red / or rose. Eliminate other swaps. (Can still buy dz water bottles for $7.08 if standard fare cruiser wants H2O) Edit: thats still a lot of work. Bet the majority of the mini bars aren't swapped out

Supposedly. But I'm wondering if those short 1-3 day cruises don't allow swaps like the 5 day one skipped the Captains Party. As a standard fare booking on that 1, I'd be totally satisfied with a drink coupon. Finding out in 17 days

So far only Livorno limits it to wine & beer while in port. Yes that's 12 hrs without hard alcohol

I'm going with "bc its a 3 day cruise" and wondering if the Captains Circle Cocktail Party was also omitted. In 2019 we got a drink voucher instead of the event as it was a 5 day cruise

The walk off in SF was extremely fast 4/23/23. CBP used new facial recognition software for screening and I paused, didn't even stop. Hope San Pedro (LA) is just as fast next month

I always carry it on & off but then I stay on lower floors (8-10) and it's only 25+ lbs so no problem carrying it up / down a few flights

Ive often wondered about those cruisers who are dissatisfied with what they get from their travel €,£,¥, or $s and keep coming back. Haven't they heard the Einstein quote "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." If I was dissatisfied I wouldn't return. But they do? (Or are they secretly satisfied but just like to complain)

Is this the 1st time you've seen drop & go fares for cruises departing soon?? Those are often 50% off out of SF.

If you board and noon and sail at 5 or so and it takes a few hours to get to international waters you have wasted most of one full day And?? You can't catch up? Plus the program covers non-alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and wfi

We upgraded our drink package, if we had known this we would not have upgraded it. But other writes that they enforces this "Wine and Beer only" hours after they left ports. I think they should have told us when we purchased the upgrade of the drink package. But thats my opinion I think the assumption is that you can avoid alcohol until in international waters. Then drink up. That's just a very small portion of 1 day.

Apparently I traded Loyalty OBC, coffee card, and internet minutes for the vegan menu and some of the absolute best quesadillas I've had ANYWHERE!! And Cali-Mex food is all over the place here. Seems like they got some of the best food trucks to share that recipe plus some other vegetarian Mexican food recipes with them. NOT SPICY (i requested not spicy) but chocked full of flavor. Off menu food variety (for those who have to preorder due to allergy) is SO much better Handing out OBC more freely now I get tokens to do my own laundry -- no more broiled / bleached disasters

I do it on ever cruise but tell them to not deliver sandwiches & sweets, just tea & scones. But sometimes it comes anyway. I just want a lite bite. This one was a perfect size
