  1. I've sailed on three cruises on Princess in Europe in the last year, and no show started before 20:00. When was the last time you sailed in Europe? I haven't sailed there since 2-September-2022 so things may have indeed changed.
  2. Yeah .... 1st show is at 7:30 but you're still at dinner which is why you didn't know 😂 (7:30 shows in UK, Europe, Caribbean, Asia, Japan, Aus<->NZ, and of course USA) 2nd show is significantly later ... I think 9:30 but I'm already listening to music somewhere.
  3. Which is why I prefer the premium balconies. I like the sofa especially when having tea service in front of the game. Royal Princess has a larger sports bar, Deck 6 Double Down Bar, but most cram it into smoky Churchills
  4. I preorder and sometimes request that the appetizer (if asparagus) and main (when fettuccine) come together. Then I mixed the 2. And yes, I eat at 6pm and don't want to spend 2 hrs eating as I want to get to the shows or musicians.
  5. Tea was still $2 a pot 4/16/23-4/23/23. Has that also gone up to Peets land prices ($2.50-3.95)? It's their branded tea bags. Even Starbucks is $2.95-$3.25 and you don't get the actual pot for it to steep in there
  6. Interesting because when I booked there was not mentioning of an OBC - even on its website. Did your CVP have 'extra OBC' she could share? Mine does sometimes depending on the booking
  7. Hey no foul here!! I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian and love cream in coffee & that ice cream. Yum!! Will ask for berries with it from now on. Cheese is trickier. I make cheese without rennet & some commercial cheese has no animal rennet. Strict ovo-lacto vegetarians do not eat cheese they do not buy without checking it online first (yes, that's a thing)
  8. Look at your Travel Summary to see if its refundable or nonrefundable. That's the only way to know for sure Sometimes I get refundable from my CVP but strings attached to getting one. Like when I got 100 obc for my cruise 2 weeks ago because it took so long to refund $35 for missing Boston
  9. Just as long as i can still trade the minibar. Now to see if I can trade it for obc in 3 weeks It took me 2 weeks to drop my cruise weight and I'm on in 3 weeks. So I really don't need these. Will stick to 2 scoups gelato / ice cream / sorbet and a (1) chocolate chip / oatmeal raisin / pb cookie after lunch or dinner.
  10. And I'm fine with paying a higher rate. On the b2b I only need it maybe 6 days instead of 21
  11. It's correct. When buying by the day, not for the entire cruise, the price is $20. Your elite discount is half off. So it's $10 a day. I misstated. Google says $9.99 a day THEN take 50% off if elite. Great that it works out to $10 pd. Just buying for the days i need. I like unplugging but there aren't enough port days to completely log off
  12. 2 questions: per day price / is elite discount still applicable when buying by the day? I might just need 6 days on a 21 day cruise (5 + 16 b2b) Yes I could Google it but that returned a per day cost of $9.99 & that's wrong
  13. I do want to add one oddity: if I go back in I notice that the original booking is still there but as a HOLD with a GUARANTEE room and no deposit on it. Just hanging out. The new booking has everything including the room over there. Didn't notice that until today
  14. I rebook / refare all the time which is why I always book refundable deposit. Who told you that you couldn't? I have never lost my room, EZAIR, excursions etc. But I do lose prior promos if rebooking. I use a CVP
  15. *****?!? I'd adjust the daily gratuity to deduct that. A 'gratuity' or tip is for services rendered and charging $20 is not a 'service rendered' IMHO
  16. Took less than 15 minutes to get to the Elite lounge at Pier 27 2 weeks ago. The issue in April 2022 was so many ppl did NOT do ArriveCAN before getting to the pier. I was in the 1st 50 then and most ahead of me were trying to do it when entering slowing everything down. So different 12 months later So I don't think it was the pier-- definitely ppl who didn't do ArriveCAN at home as asked
  17. Something strange happened yesterday / has anyone else experienced this? I've been trying to get a private table at 6pm MDR Midship and only had the option of 5pm shared Deck 6 rear or 8:40pm. Yesterday I looked, yet again expecting disappointment, and I'm 6 pm MDR Deck 5! Exactly what I want for my next 3 cruises & had on my April 2023 cruise. How?? Do they track those of us who preorder?? Did filling out allergies trip something? I know / suspect I'll get an assigned table (all post covid tables have been assigned).
  18. My SFO -> Rome / Miami -> SFO is $684 on EZAIR. The exact same flight is $4696 on United. Same seats just other side of aisle. I'm confused!! But sticking with EZAIR
  19. They do say what is not allowed. Fortified wine no longer listed: FWIW I've found water in cans but it's easier to just buy a dz bottles for $7.08
  20. I bring a corkscrew & stopper and get glasses from the steward (I ask for 4 on boarding)
  21. Flying Air Canada home at end of cruise Oct 2023. Flights not yet ticketed and I have selected seats. Business class. Yeah .... but I go economy and can't get seats with Air Canada or Turkish Air when reserving the flight. So using the other airlines
