  1. Yep...note that he/she did not even "follow" the thread.
  2. Excellent point! I doubt that I would have even thought about that.
  3. I refuse to use this "new" method until they refuse to accept it using the email path.
  4. And...just in case you are curious, if your ship (for whatever reason) does not visit the port(s) in question...you don't have to do *anything*. The tour will be cancelled for you and you will receive OBC into your account, usually same day. Same thing if by chance the tour operator must cancel.
  5. Welcome to Cruise Critic! As @jwattle has stated above, simply log on to Princess.com, click "My Account" and then click "Cruise Credits". This is where they should show up. If they do not show up there I would send an email to customerrelations@princesscruises.com explaining what the issue is. If possible, attach a PDF scan of the letter you received. If that is not possible, look for any special "codes" or ID numbers that look like they uniquely identify your letter/FCC and include that in your message.
  6. This is Rick... We did a "partial" transit passing through the new locks. Once in Gatun Lake we transferred to a smaller boat and continued on to the Pacific side using the "old" locks. We then boarded a bus and returned to Cristobal where the ship had relocated and was waiting to meet back up with us. We really liked this excursion...but be prepared for a *long* day. We passed through the new locks at roughly sunrise and met the ship in Cristobal after dark.
  7. You would probably be better served (and be assured that they will have something to your liking) if you *were* to check available menus the day/night before.
  8. We did this same itinerary last year, 2022. It remains as one of our top 5 cruises! Have a great trip!
  9. Are you speculating as to this or do you have first hand knowledge?
  10. @cheetosrevil I'm more curious as to how the *topic* would even come to mind...did something "happen" that you're not sharing?
  11. Regardless of the ships we've sailed on, we don't really see much difference at all in the decor...certainly not the menus. The main advantage to anyone is likely the location and how "easy" it might be to get to from your cabin.
  12. I fully assume that you were giving a "tongue-in-cheek" reply...but for those who *really* don't know: 1) Just look on the inside of your cabin door 2) Ask your steward 3) Ask any crew member you see.
  13. You are asking questions that can only be replied to with very subjective answers. What is important to one cruiser may have NO importance to another. Others have attempted to give you "the facts"...only you can judge for yourself.
  14. Exactly! Things were much quieter before this migration.
  15. I can't speak to the specific hotel that you are using...but *most* hotels (almost everywhere) will not allow check-ins before noon and very often not until possibly 3:00pm. That being said...they understand that this is an issue and we have *never* failed to have a hotel hold our bags for us (in a secure room) while we do a bit of sightseeing and while our room is being prepared.
  16. We board the Sky in Southampton next week. We had our medallions shipped to our home and we received them a little over a week ago. Then again...we're in the US. I know this has just recently changed for our Canadian friends...but what exactly is your concern. We *always* have them shipped to us...have never had them not delivered in time. For those who pick them up at the pier...most people have said that it *might* add 2 minutes to your total boarding time.
  17. Caribbean Princess, September 20, 2023 - Canada/New England cruise (NYC to Quebec City) 6:44pm
