  1. The thing that I don't really understand is--they have "sofa loungers" there. When sitting on one, there are 3 choices: 1) take your shoes off and have your feet touching the cushion, 2) keep your shoes ON and have shoes touching it, or 3) sit with your legs astride it, with feet on the floor. So what is the acceptable choice? The first two seem a bit icky to me, the third uncomfortable...as long as they provide chaise lounge couches, it's bound to be ripe for photos and mild disgust no matter which you choose!
  2. Sid, you just do Sid and enjoy your time on the Prima. No matter what you are doing. Or not doing. Or haven't done yet.
  3. We are having pierogis tonight too. Prepared by my Polish DH. ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. I am totally getting that corn on the cob and grilled shrimp. OMG.And guacamole. I never thought I'd see the day I would say I want what Sid's having! lol
  5. Please let me know if they still have guacamole! That was really gooood.
  6. This ole gal is too! All I can think is โ€œwell, OW,โ€
  7. As well you should! None of this โ€œtoo earlyโ€ stuff allowed on that cruise! Lol
  8. What is this? Other than the ham it looks mighty tasty! Was thinking of trying a white pizza there. I hear it is yummy.
  9. Sid, want lots of pics for this place. This is a definite for us. That bread alone ...! Hopefully you will get something I would eat so I can see it. ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. Here and following! Just whets my appetite for our Prima cruise in 2 weeks.
  11. Sid, I just got hooked up to this. I have been out of it on so many levels. Good to have a Sid Review to read. Have a wonderful time!!!
  12. You might want to check out this Haven thread--has lots of info on it.
  13. I'm a drinker! No way I could (or would even want) that many drinks a day. Probably more like 7. But that's just me, I realize. In any case it certainly is a good deal for someone who drinks that many!.
  14. We were in the Haven very far forward. Did not notice any unusual movement. Even on the sundeck which is right at the bow. But very windy when underway.
  15. Dave, I'm really looking forward to your review (and I already like your sense of humor and writing style!). I will be on the Celebration next January. I am a Norweenie (usually sail NCL) and the last time I was on a Carnival ship was almost 30 years ago! So I am trying to catch up on what to expect. Thanks for taking the time to do this!
  16. For us, it was just lots of people. Our cabin was in the bow of the ship so if the front ones were worse, maybe that's why.
  17. This was our experience on the Bliss just before Covid started, so it was a few years ago. It was the only complaint we had, though. Love the Bliss. We took stairs a lot but going up a lot of flights all the time is darn tiring. I'm no spring chicken!
  18. Yeah, this is true NCL was "warmer" before the current regime.
  19. You are probably right. But how many big businesses do? It is what it is.
  20. I agree with this totally. I count on honest opinions. And I take notes on both happy and not happy stuff. this thread is shaping back up to one I enjoy! Yay team! I havenโ€™t posted this much anywhere in a long time. ๐Ÿ™‚
