  1. Not the OP but yes you can do this but it has to done with a phone call as it is not available online until closer to the cruise date. I have done this for many cruises that were always booked quite a ways into the future ... unless this has changed but it wasn't that long ago since I've done this.
  2. You totally helped as this is exactly what I was trying to confirm. I ended up just pre-purchasing one 'pack' of 4 and me and my travel partner and I will just play together even though it will really belong to me. Still debating getting another but how you explain it will work is what I was expecting, that a 'pack' purchase cannot be broken up across events which is understandable I guess. Thank you!
  3. If all the other suggestions do not work and you are forced into FCC, you should be able to apply this to another cruise ... I did this with a $100 NRD that I had for a cancelled cruise so don't see why you couldn't do the same. I was even able to do it online in the section where you can make payments on your cruise, you can enter your FCC ##s. Have not tried this recently but assume this still be an option. Of course EVERY situation can be different ... Good Luck!
  4. What appeals is not only the 20% off but the better deal to get four cards. One card is $19.99 but four cards 39.99 so that's a big difference per card... BUT again I am curious to know if they can be played at different hosted game shows but I think I might have to take a chance and it'll be what it'll be and worst case I will play four at once.
  5. That matches what I've been reading, that it is done on sea days. I am going to take the chance and buy the 4 card package and see how it goes. If they have it on the first sea day I will inquire with them the chances it will occur again on my cruise. I played this once on NCL long time ago.
  6. Ya then there is that. My cruise is a 9 night so was thinking more chance of it happening more than once but total crap shoot I guess.
  7. In my Cruise Planner I see that you can purchase Deal or No Deal cards online pre cruise and realize this is not a new thing, just new to me. They offer 1 card, 3 card, 4 card purchases, all currently at a 20% discount for my cruise. My question for those that have either purchased these pre-cruise or bought multiple cards ahead of time, if I purchase the 4 cards which is the best bang for buck, do all 'package purchased' cards have to played at the same Deal or No Deal show or can they be separated to perhaps play 2 during one show and 2 during another? Basically would each card stand on it's own and be playable on it's own Both me and my travel partner want to purchase the 4 cards but don't want to have to play 8 cards together in a single game show, we would like to be sure we can break them up to at least two game shows. Thanks all for your insight/experience on this.
  8. Cruise Only is only newly (again) presented as an option for rooms up to Aqua Class. Suites have always been different in what they offer in the cost by design. Cruise Only option is a costing that does not include Beverage Package, WIFI and Gratuities, all of which have always been perks embedded into a Suite offering, the other staterooms have always had these 'perks' as options ($$) until some time during the pandemic when the AI was introduced and it became the only option across the board so this is somewhat a circling back. So your Sky Suite should not be Cruise Only and should have all the 'perks' being talked about here along with the other things that come with booking a Suite. This would explain the 'not bookable' the website states with regards to Suites.
  9. Agree with the 'make money' part. However ... ha ha ha as if health has anything to do with all of this and decisions I make how to enjoy my vacation. Everything about cruising is detrimental to my health ... the buffet, getting too much sun, drinking more than the one alcoholic 'drink' that might claim to be good for my heart (LOL), the cappuccinos ! Guess unhealthy people like me work against Celebrity's objective 😉.
  10. At least the app menus help but they are definitely lacking in what they list. That said, this pretty much aligns with the limited drink menus found onboard. Each bar has a small menu but they are pretty limited in what they have on them which I believe is intentional to minimize people wanting to try things they see ... reduce the power of suggestion 😉.
  11. Is it perhaps just 'some' FCC that are transferable and some not? I know some that got FCC for a cancelled cruise at the beginning of the Pandemic and it says non-transferable on it, perhaps this is not being enforced now? Just thinking that not all FCCs are the same.
  12. From a quick look, it appears the cost difference is $50 US per day (per person). I am one that would not 'save' anything by opting for the Cruise Only rate since $16 would cover Gratuity for balcony which is my typical leaving $34 per day cost for all the Classic beverage package would offer. No brainer for me and good marketing on Celebrity's part 🙂 AI for me if faced with a choice based on this difference as it would cost me more to do Cruise Only 🍹🍻
  13. Sorry .. I think my response confused what I was saying. I do see the menus on my Nov 2022 (Apex) cruise (now that I realize they are viewable in the app) so all good here. I was referring to helping the poster with the 'accept' prompt. Thanks ... the irony is I had looked at dining menus in the app all along but didn't clue in that Bars where there too with drink listing and pricing.
  14. To try and see what you are seeing I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged in new and I did not get any accept prompt for anything. My next cruise is not until November so maybe that makes a difference, hopefully others might have insight. It even auto loaded my cruise into my profile for me without me doing anything.
  15. Duh .. I didn't realize this. Thank you!
  16. Does anyone have any recent pictures of onboard drink menus (or know of a site that has posted recent menus)? Just wondering how things are priced now especially seeing the increase in beverage packages and the offering of cruise only rates. Mostly interested in beer, cocktails and premium type water but it would be good to see current pricing of anything for those without packages. Oh and I've done plenty of searching already but so much of what can be found seems dated and sporadic, or so buried within a posting that it is proving impossible to pull it out. Thanks ....!
  17. Clearer LOL. And I got the email myself just a short bit ago. Woot woot.
  18. OH have not seen this one yet. Hope it comes my way. Presidents??? Lisa? Interesting.
