  1. What did your TA say? Below are the requirements from the RCL TA Website and it clearly states that vaccinations are required for Transatlantic sailings: Vaccination Requirement COVID-19 Vaccination Required for Guests Age 5 and Older Transatlantic Sailings from Europe Testing Requirements Testing Requirements All guests age 5 and older must bring a negative test result for a COVID-19 test taken within 2 days before boarding day. The test you take must be supervised by a health professional, such as a doctor, pharmacy technician, public health worker, or telehealth professional. Telehealth testing at home is accepted for vaccinated guests, and must be conducted under live video supervision. Tests must be arranged on your own and are at your own expense. Guests age 4 and younger do not have any testing requirements.
  2. Didn't make a blanket statement how long a refund will take, made a blanket statement about managing expectations......in your case if it takes more than a few seconds you might be disappointed......expectations are relative....
  3. You can usually rebook quickly, but don't expect the refund on the cancelation to occur quickly.....
  4. Sounds like an Agency issue rather than an NCL issue.
  5. I believe that offer was only good one per household, that may be the reason.
  6. Not true, it is not a flat $500, it is based on the upgrade price of insurance increase (if you have insurance through NCL).
  7. Are you asking about CruiseNext certificates?
  8. RC Visa Card points OBC is a refundable category of OBC.
  9. RC Visa OBC is considered "refundable" OBC so you do not lose it. Depending on timing of the purchase it would be refunded to your credit card at the end of the sailing or returned to OBC before end of sailing then returned to card at end of sailing.
  10. Have him sign on to RCL website using his email/name etc and it should show the reservation. If not he can add it and everything will be good. Other than that you'll need to call the C&A number.
  11. It appears you're going to the UK site. Clear your cookies and try again.
  12. There have been other reports over the years of "too good to be true" compensatory offers that turn out in the end to a) either be bogus by the author or b) an error by the TA or Cruiseline and later revised.
  13. I've experienced it doesn't mean anything other than the bid could still be accepted (have had that happen) or the bid may not be accepted (had that happen also).
  14. To be fair to all the other suite passengers, it would be better for you to board with their line, rather than have 20 or so added to the suite line.
  15. I know that Royal formally changed their policy no longer allowing down-lining. I believe Celebrity did as well but I'm looking for it. But, as with everything, never hurts to ask, but if they say yes, get it in writing.
  16. Yes, Ocean Blue is included but with some additional fees for certain items. https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Ocean-Blue-Dinner-Menu-060420-tmp.pdf
  17. Recently on the Apex and we all loved the Infinity cabins. All a matter of personal preference. Not sure that the number of posts of those that dislike them is a true indicator, I've found on CC that cruisers are more prone to take the time to post when they dislike something as opposed to when they do like something.
  18. Points aren't returned, it goes back as a credit to your credit card within a day or so of the last day of the sailing.
  19. Had the same problem recently, never could get resolved so just hand wrote them at port. I think it cost us 3 minutes in our boarding time.
  20. I did a solo on the Jade to Greece and loved it!
