  1. Do not think so….how is it discouraged. If anything at all, it would only be for Excel class, and again I see nothing that supports anything to say differently. Maybe you can suggest where this would be seen.
  2. I would suggest just the opposite. There are no lines get it done, after you eat there will be this and then there will be that and then they will be begging for the people who waited to get it done. It is clear that Carnival wants it this way as well. The last 5 cruises we were directed to muster.
  3. I would be SHOCKED if they did away with assigned dining.
  4. While the spirit class ships have the aft pool as serenity (and therefore adults only), I was unaware of others doing it (have not been on a conquest class ship in a good while tho). I am curious why they would change this for specific sailings (on the Glory or other COnquesat class ships).
  5. Prob were not given information on the time of the fix because it was not known.
  6. My FAV area on any ship. Love watching the churn of the props (assuming they are working 😅), You will get vibration when they are using the pods to dock or leave. Other than that it puts me asleep.
  7. Love your funky jewelry….😉
  8. To my friends point, there are changes, but most are minimal in nature. Cruising has always been evolving, but covid hell escalating some things, it happens when you are forced to suspend for 19 months and rack up 25+ bill in debt. To the ops question, things have changed, but changes are small in nature and we can cruise. So OP, go enjoy your cruise.
  9. Most RS will subtly push for morning.
  10. It was way overdo for a change. When change happens some embrace it but the simple fact is people by nature a reticent to accept it. These things to shall pass, enjoy the parts you like.
  11. I left two rings on the top shelf when staying onion an Excel aft suite on MG. Nothing but having a kind honest person reach out thru Carnival and forward them back to me. I thanked them and sent something as a sign of my gratitude.....stuff happens.
  12. considering the stance of lenders from the previous action, it is DEF a good position from there to here. There is no smoke and mirrors here, it is a long road out of covid hell.
  13. I was going to mention Carnival's stance on straws.....but.
  14. I always cancel a cruise when new menu’s are announced. You know what they say once a fight always a fight.. For the record, I can show you a youtube from every line of a fight on board….including Disney.
  15. Most would disagree with your view on excel class. By far the most popular. Won’t go into a deep discussion but mega of the seas was a once and done. Never again, maybe for free, but would have to think about it. Have zero desire to go on their latest. No dog is this fight but if you think Jubilee costs the same as Conquest, you better go check the math. Moving on
  16. If I want to see a broadway type show, I will go to broadway. When on Oasis, we saw hairspray, it was def meh, saw the ice show meh. Summer stock is summer stock. NCL’sversion of Jersey Boys was at least good talent. At least Carnival shows are somewhat original. The talent level around the ship is far superior on Carnival then any mega of the seas, imho.
  17. The real lesson is NOT to have any true valuables in checked luggage, but I am sure you know that now. Hard lesson to learn,
