  1. Sadly, they removed the compare option several years ago. You used to be able to do a rudimentary side by side comparison of 3 cruises.
  2. It seems to be different for a solo booking vs multiple passengers. At least that's what I noticed a couple of weeks ago after someone posted about the changes.
  3. I'm a latitudes member and I signed up - I would like to see the engine room and the bridge.
  4. The $50 excursion credit applies. But apparently the latitudes discount does not.
  5. There was a pretty good Queen cover band on one of my cruises, did 2 different shows - did a great Bohemian Rhapsody.
  6. What are you trying to say? If you are before final payment then you get cash back if you've already paid, a reduced invoice amount if you have yet to pay. The FCC is only if the price goes down after final payment and it's a COURTESY, not an obligation on the part of NCL. If prices for what you booked aren't showing then it means that it's sold out and therefore no price drop.
  7. FCC only. Incentive to spend more money by booking another cruise. No need to call anyone to check prices. Just go online and look, although after final payment due date you can only look, you can't put anything on hold.
  8. The FCC that I got when my cruise was cancelled did appear in my account. That FCC was available to use for anything cruise related, could be transferred, etc. When it is used, it is reflected as a payment on your statement. The FCC for a price drop can only be used as an offset for cruise fare and cannot be transferred. Which is why, I would assume, that it has to be applied by a TA or NCL rep. When it is used, it is reflected as a discount (sometimes noted, sometimes not) against the cruise fare on your statement. Just like there are different types of OBC, there are also different types of FCC and the rules are different. So yea, people may see FCC in their account. It depends on the source.
  9. And multiple posters, including me, have said just the opposite.
  10. No, it doesn't show when you go to your MyNCL account. Only visible to a TA or NCL rep. Your TA should have forwarded the notification letter to you. I book through NCL, so all correspondence comes directly to me.
  11. Sorry, can't help you there. I'm actually not a coffee drinker, just going on info others have posted.
  12. Yes, just ask. Yours would most likely be confiscated. And they will provide pods, etc.
  13. You should get a refund for her taxes/port fees, any drink or meal packages, prepaid DSC, prepaid excursions. You will not get a refund for the cruise fare or airfare. I'm not sure if you have to let them know prior to check-in or if you can just tell them she's a no-show when you arrive. If she has travel insurance she might be able to get a refund for her fare.
  14. With price drops you have to take the good with the bad, it's not just the fare. Some things stay, some are part of the package. Sometimes prices go down but you may also see changes in the terms of the promos (BOGO is a promo). Your PCC/TA/NCL rep has no control over what changes, what stays the same. They put in the request for the price adjustment, the computer spits out the price and promos.
  15. Why would they? Just extra work for the stewards that way. Just ask for one if you want one.
  16. You can get a can for the same price, just ask for it that way.
  17. Yes, you can cancel the air without affecting your reservation, as long as you do it before the final payment date. If you requested a deviation, you would lose the $25 credit. They also cancelled and refunded the airport transfers on mine so I had to add them back in later.
  18. Can't be mentioned site has the initials beginning with F and mentions a book
  19. The land tours on a cruise tour aren't run by NCL - they are contracted to a 3rd party. You will be able to choose/book any available land excursions through your tour guide. As far as NCL is concerned, you are on a 7 day cruise. And in case you were wondering, you do not get latitudes points for the land portion of your trip. tours.pdf
  20. Sorry, have to ask. Did NCL cancel transfers from the airport? They did that to me in Buenos Aires, just want to know if this is becoming a common practice, after they assured me that it was just an issue with BA.
  21. Someone is currently posting dailies in the group on the-can't-be-mentioned site, simply called Norwegian Bliss
  22. Doubt that anything will change in the next few months, unless you are talking about 2025. There schedules are pretty much set years in advance, unless something happens to make them redeploy ships elsewhere.
  23. They won't decline your bid until the last minute, so there is no opportunity to bid again.
  24. I booked a flight through NCL for a cruise leaving from Stockholm. A week or so before I was scheduled to leave, SAS announced a potential airline strike. NCL proactively rebooked my flights, on other airlines, completely different itineraries. Had I booked directly with the airlines I would have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to rebook overseas flights at the last minute. Another reason to consider not booking directly with airlines. It goes both ways.
