  1. The only upgrade is within category - so a better location on the ship for example. Probably wouldn't apply to Haven.
  2. Not sure about that - doubt the onboard CN manager works on commission. At the moment my PCC is MIA so no definitive answer. And I've had 3 calls from potential PCCs since I booked onboard - all thinking I need a new PCC because the one I used to use got promoted months ago. But she handed off her accounts to another PCC, so I don't know what's going on. Leaving on a cruise in a couple of days and planning to rebook a couple of cruises to get the price reductions/additional discounts.
  3. No way of knowing what will be in effect in December.
  4. currently it is 14 days Direct_Guest_Reservation_Transfer_Form.pdf (ncl.com)
  5. Was going to post the same - most likely FCC unless it's something given by a TA.
  6. As long as it's still pending, your bids are still active. Got my bid on the Dawn 4 days before.
  7. When I booked onboard I specifically asked if my PCC would get the credit. I was told yes. However, my PCC hasn't returned my call so I haven't been able to verify.
  8. Yes, under certain conditions people may be allowed to leave early - but it needs to be coordinated with the ship. She will need to contact NCL corportate, not rely on information from a random NCL agent. Can the ship ban them - probably not. Will your friend have issues beyond luggage? Most certainly. For starters they have probably entered a foreign country illegally. So off the ship, stuck in a foreign country.
  9. I can verify that I got the current price (after the 40%) for the cheaper cabin, a free upgrade, and then the 10% came off that price. In fact, the 10% wasn't applied until after the cruise. But mathematically it doesn't matter. Price x .6 x .9 is the same as Price x .9 x .6. Or 44% off overall.
  10. You can get a coffee pot - if there isn't one in your room, just ask your steward.
  11. It is 10% off the current fare, whatever it happens to be when you book. So it can be hundreds or thousands depending on the cruise/cabin category you choose to book. Don't know why an extra 10% (plus category upgrade) wouldn't always be considered a better deal. Has nothing to do with the fluctuating prices.
  12. There is no restriction to combine with other obc. Been discussed many times. The "restrictions" only have to do with people like TAs who are getting comped in some way by NCL for the cruise.
  13. My late Dec cruise has dropped significantly, over 1k - but also dropped triple points. I'm already Sapphire so think I'll take the money! I'm thinking after final payment credits will be pretty rare through the rest of 2022 with the change to 40% and the loss of the triple point promo.
  14. Just booked last week - still offering the 10% (plus upgrade), although they certainly didn't advertise it!
  15. Your PCC is telling you the truth. NCL implemented fairly strict guidelines for updates after final payment almost a year ago. Unless it has changed recently, you can't get any sort of adjustment unless ALL the perks on your sailing match. So if you took airfare for example you can't get an adjustment because the fare you see now doesn't reflect what you got when you booked. If you do happen to meet the criteria - which also means your cruise is longer than 5 days and it is more than 14 days out and the promos match - they will give you 100% fcc of the fare difference, to be used after your cruise. But that has nothing to do with re-pricing before final payment.
  16. NCL premium air is not the same as using the BOGO promotion. They will handle your airfare but you won't get a discount. You could use a travel agency and accomplish the same goal.
  17. Your best bet (assuming you are on the same reservation) is to plan to leave from the same location if you want to take advantage of the bogo airfare. There is no way to guarantee you'd be on the same flights otherwise. If there are no direct flights from Tampa, then book your MIL to Philly but keep in mind that just because there are direct flights doesn't mean that's what you will get. I use Google for basic flight info. If you have a credit card with travel benefits (Chase for example) that can be easy.
  18. 3% fee. But as a purchase, you get whatever points/rebate your card offers for travel purchases. If you have the NCL card, it's at least a wash - but also a good way to collect points toward an upgrade.
  19. Just a fyi - the train to Berlin is a charter by the cruise lines, so you get back to the ship. And I think the euro ticket only applies to local trains so business as usual on the high-speed ones. Train took about 2.5 hrs each way last week. But yes, Berlin in a day not really possible. And our tour guide talked really fast!
  20. As opposed to the same "exceptions" on the Azamara list LOL. I haven't counted but will be on the Star in August so no testing - works for me.
  21. I believe the NCL Bermuda cruises sail from the US so not really an exception.
  22. NCL already removed the testing requirement, effective August 1 - with noted exceptions being the US, Canada and Greece.
