Hey everyone, let's not point out to him that if that he is getting ripped off with the FAS free open bar, Example: If one is Silver or Gold latitude, he gets 40% off the UBP. So your free drink package is really only 69% off by his logic and you are LOSING 40%. The rip off is even higher as you move up the latitude program! Which of course (again by his logic) you should get back OBC for that 40% amount! 🙂 🙂 🙂

You can't stay on teh ship even if you already have the following cruise booked. The ship has to have a zero head count prior to the next cruise boarding, even back to back passengers.

He is correct. Just because you got an offer 'every time' so far dopes not at all mean you will or should get one every time going forward. A lot goes into the process such as what you paid for your exiting cabin and what cabins are still available as well as those same parameters for all other bookings on your cruise. If teh fom says no upgrades available it means that your particular situation did not meet the parameter critaeria for an upgrade offer on that sailing.

It depends on if they scrape enough off the ship's hull from the previous sailing.

That is just plain nasty and they should not have even been allowed in and seated let alone served. That is one that I would have absolutely said something about to our server and proceeded up teh chain to teh captain until it was resolved. Major health issue there among other things.

That is the CHECK IN time NOT the boarding time. You cannot select a boarding time. You board when it is your turn to board based on when they start. Also the start is based on getting a zero head count and CG clearance. IOW there is no way at all to know a specific boarding time.

They take the $50 off FIRST then apply the 10% to the remaining balance. $75 excursion, less $50 is $25. Less 15% (Sapphire) is another 3275 discount, remaining cost is 21.25. You are getting the entire $50 discount and 15% discount off of what you would otherwise pay.

Hi Tia, welcome. The reservations usually do not open until midnight when the site rolls over to to appropriate day count. It is based on the DAY you cruise, the TIME you are set to sail is irrelevant. Hang in there and when they finish the updates simply log in and book.

The fact that he drinsk soda and you don't is irrelevant as long as he would drink enough to make the package cost efficient for him. Just because he buys it does not mean you have to as well.

Giving someone cash BEFORE the service is performed is not a tip, it is a bribe... 🙂 If we never use the butler or concierge we do not tip. They should not expect a tip from someone who does not use them, Normally, we do use the concierge maybe once during the cruise. We tip him at that time for what he did for us. To each hsi own, but there is no customary, normal, or suggested amount to tip.
