  1. I fixed that for you. I cannot offend anyone, nor can you. People CHOOSE to be offended by whatever they elect to be offended by.
  2. Those "entire pizzas" are tiny. I could almost eat one by myself. If I were at the buffet and getting food for myself and my child for example, we could easily eat one of those pizzas. There is absolutely noting at all 'wrong' with taking however much food you want on a buffet as long as you are going to eat it. That is the entire concept of a buffet.
  3. By the looks of the pictures of the pizzas in question are of a size that it woudl not take m,any peopel at all to be able to eat an 'entire' one. They look closer to the size of a personal pizza than a 'normal' size pizza. Of getting pizza for more than one person, taking an 'entire' pizza is what many would do.
  4. I don't watch kickball. Most boring non-sport ever... LOL
  5. Sounds like someone is looking for an excuse to complain, this one being based on an assumption. I could not care less what they put on the print out as long as my amount due is $0.00.
  6. There are no standard gratuities to be paid. You are talking about the daily service charge which is in the NCL FAQ. The reason there's a fixed service charge is an important one: Our Crew (as are the crew from other lines) is encouraged to work together as a team. Staff members including complimentary restaurant staff, stateroom stewards and behind-the-scenes support staff are compensated by a combination of salary and incentive programs that your service charge supports. How much is the charge? Onboard Service Charges are additional. Other than on certain FAS items and certain purchased items, tipping on NCL is 200% optional. However, I do think that most people do opt to tip.
  7. How can you hear my 'tone' reading a post? LOL It is fine that you appreciate or do not appreciate anything. That is your choice and not under my control. The fact they told any number of people is irrelevant whether it was sarcasm or not. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but you posted in a public forum and specifically asked for THOUGHT ON TAKING A WHOLE PIZZA and in doing do invited replies form the public. I replied giving my thoughts. It is noting that I would have gotten even slightly upset about. At a buffet it is all you can eat. Their group could eat a whiel oen of those small pizzas so they took one and went to eat. I actually find very little at all to gripe about when I cruise. If I find myself in a situation that I am not happy with, I just move on and go elsewhere. Much easier and much more enjoyable that way! Hope your next cruise is better and you have 10-12 pizzas all to yourself to make up for this one.
  8. False, There us a daily service charge (the amount depends on your cabin type). Some people mistakenly refer to it as gratuities, however it is not a gratuity. It is an employee incentive program. A description is available on the NCL web siet under the FAQ section,
  9. What is cutting in line at a buffet? At a buffet I simply look for what I want and put it on my plate. Beside, who really cares if they took a whole pizza, four scoops of scrambled eggs, six muffins, or anything else in a quantity that is above what I would take, not me. More pizza and other food will be will be there soon enough. Its not like the ship will run out if someone takes over a certain amount. Taking all you wnat to eat is the whole point of a buffet! The 'we ordered ahead' sounds like sarcasm aimed at someone who poked their nose into someone else's business. What a silly t8hing to get all upset about.
  10. LOL no it is pay for something if you want to buy it. They most likely had enough requests for playing cards that they decided to go ahead and sell them. If you don't want them simply do not buy them, Problem solved. Next.
  11. There is no such things as a 'going rate'. The ONLY correct answer to tipping is to tip anyone you wnat to top, however mucjh you want to tip them, any time you wnat to tip them and be doen with it. Move on.
  12. So bartenders and wait staff do no deserve to be tipped simply becasue you got the drink or meal free? They still have to serve you, If you do not wnat to tip, somply turn down the free drinks and dining and you are all set, If you wnat OJ, Coddee, or anything else, simply open your mouth and ask. Paying for what you get is NOT nickel and diming....
  13. This is 100% false. Vaping nicotine is far more dangerous than smoking a cigarette. First off liquid nicotine is so harmful that handling it requires a full hazmat suit. The steam/vapor from vaping gets far deeper into the lungs than the solids from smoking a cigarette. I know a fairly large number of people who work in the industry, specifically in R&D. Anyone who is vaping thinking it is 'safer' than smoking tobacco or a good way to quit smoking is sadly misleading themselves. Smoking (whether a traditional tobacco cigarette or the electronic version) is nothing more than committing suicide on thr time delay plan. Enjoy!
  14. You do realize that in a free market system the buyer sets the price. If you do not like the price something is being offered for, do not buy it. It is a simple concept.
  15. Just bring your own bottle and fill it up at the buffet. It is not a money grab tt is called paying for whta you use, Niw when they start with bagged air (probably woudl be bought by the same people who pay for water( that will be a money grab. Evere notice that Evian spelled backwards is Naive. Says all that needs to be said about bottled water.
  16. As long as you do it in areas whree smoling is allowed you will be OK with NCL.
  17. 1st vaping IS smoking. 2nd vaping is not 'preferred', 'supported', or 'less dangerous' if one is vaping (smoking) a substance that contains liquid nicotine. 3rd no one "supports: either of these dangerous activities. I'm not trying to get into an argumnet here just stating facts.
  18. If you book a GTY or Sail Away rate you do not get the FAS options nor do you get to select your cabin. It has been that way at least since 2010 whne we started sailing.
  19. You can smoke in all of the smoking areas on any NCL ships whether you are smoking tobacco or liquid nicotine. It is all the same except the liquid form is much more harmful to one's health. Enjoy!
  20. So NCL giving you what you agreed to when you booked your cruise is now not being customer friendly. OK
  21. As nasty and bland as airline food is, I could not imagine even attempting to eat it a week later. Throw that crap away and be done with it,
  22. Anyone bring unsealed food items onboard? I'll put my money on YES.
  23. What's up with the slippers? They go on your feet!
