  1. It's right there on Carnival's website. They might not ask for it - but then again - they might - so I would have what Carnival requires.
  2. Thank you for the review. I got off the Sky a couple of days after Thanksgiving. We had a great cabin on the Sun deck and didn't experience the kinds of delays and poor food quality you did. Staff did seem tired and overworked and the ship was understaffed. Overall, I had a great time but am now dealing with Princess erroneously charging me for a future cruise deposit. Didn't look at my credit card statement until after I was home and noticed Princess charged me $300 instead of $200 ($100 for me and $100 for my daughter).
  3. I understand very well. Either one takes that risk or not. I have a very busy work life but I've always arranged my vacation to allow for an additional day. If something arises at work, I have another colleague ready to go or I tell them I will deal with it once I land at my destination. It's a choice one makes.
  4. just off the Sky a few weeks ago. Probably the quietest cabin I've ever had (on Sun deck). You're probably sailing with tons of families with younger kids crammed into tiny cabins which equates to more noise!
  5. I just got off of a Princess cruise and used my Plus package the second I got on - out of Ft. Lauderdale that is.
  6. Understood. Work obligations or not - always arrive a day ahead to reduce this kind of cluster....
  7. Always fly in the night before. You will avoid this kind of fiasco. As you know, EZ Air isn't an insurance policy. Good thing you have insurance. Just read the fine print of your policy to determine if your circumstances are covered.
  8. That's odd as I just parked for eight days at Port Everglades. It charged my credit card exactly $105 - no additional fees or taxes. Perhaps they're built into the daily rate?
  9. Great. Looking forward to your posts. Have a terrific time!!!!
  10. Happened to me on the Sky a few weeks ago. I have a teenage daughter and didn't set up any credit card authorization for her. As such, our accounts weren't linked. We each had $200 in onboard credit, but I checked my onboard account (almost every day) and saw that they had tentatively charged my credit card for purchases that my daughter's credit would have covered. I immediately called Guest Services and they linked our account and reversed the credit card charge. You really have to stay on top of this during the cruise as Princess also charged us for two drinks although we had Princess Plus (those were reversed, too).
  11. No way even near the best. It was fast at 3am, but I'd rather be sleeping then.
  12. No way to accomplish any substantive work on the Sky. I couldn't even access my email account on most days.
  13. You'll really like having a cabin on Deck 17. It's a great location and very, very quiet.
  14. Then everyone should take precautions consistent with their health, age, co-morbidities, etc.
  15. I would question this as being misleading. "From" or "With" is a very different stat.
  16. Hmmmmm - I would question that percentage. I think it's very misleading.
  17. Thanks for the posts. I did the Caribbean in 2019 on a Panama Canal cruise. Had a fantastic time!
  18. No issue as long as the gratuity is reduced accordingly. Somehow, I don't think that's gonna happen....
  19. I would just dispute the erroneous $50 with the credit card company and be done with it. I'm sure Guest Services will credit your card immediately when you talk to them. I did FCD for two paxes ($200) and Princess charged my credit card $300. Didn't check my credit card account until after I returned from the cruise. I emailed Princess and then disputed it on my credit card. Citi already credited it back to me.
  20. Just did it two weeks ago - sort of. Departed out of 21 (and parked in the adjacent parking garage) and arrived back at Terminal 2 a week later. Princess provided USAA shuttles (several of them) to transport anyone over to Terminal 21 parking garage who parked there. It was efficient and no biggie. It took us 15 minutes in total. I wouldn't worry about it. People will direct you to the line/buses upon exiting Terminal 2. I was in my car and on my way back Destin at 0740. No traffic exiting the garage, etc. Now - I don't know about embarkation parking at Terminal 2 (Heron) and then finding a ride to Terminal 21 parking garage. I'd probably park at Terminal 21. I would think it's easier and at no additional cost. If the boat arrives when it's supposed to, you won't have any issue dropping someone off way before 1100.
  21. Seems pretty common for this time of year. Just wash the hands and don't eyes, mouth, nose with dirty ones. That should help immensely! Happy Holidays, Everyone!
