Yum Yum Mam. I would love to wear the uniform and nice hat and walk around with the chimes announcing dinner time. I would also give out ginger and mints after dinner as people were leaving the MDR. I have happy memories of the Yum Yum Man on the Veendam. 😊

Jacqui - On one of your past cruises, there was a seagull in the pool area, and he thought he was the Captain! LOL He was observing everything from his perch.

I have been on several HAL cruises, but I never went to a M & G because I thought it would be embarrassing if people complained to the staff about things. Since you said that everyone at your M & G were respectful, I'm glad that my stepfather and I are signed up for the M & G that crystalspin will be hosting on the Zuiderdam in July 2024. Thanks for all your info. It is very helpful and appreciated. I love the photos of food too!

I remember the stationary, the crew shows, the Yum Yum man and dinners with no upcharges on the menu , not even for lobster (if my memory is correct).
