The Samsung SmartTag Plus doesn't have the battery life that the AirTag seems to have. So I too remove the battery between trips. However, the SmartTag does have a more verbose battery status, reporting the battery level in % left. When preparing for a trip, anything less than 60% gets a fresh battery. Also... we do move them to our day-packs that we go off the ship with. Just a little bit of added security never hurts.

While once waiting for our table in a very famous Steakhouse in NYC, another group behind us waiting in the queue said something a bit too loud, they were questioning how the restaurant could, in this day and age, get away with being cash only. The staff person at the podium quickly and loudly responded to that with "sir, I'm happy to show you the door for free!" Their house, their rules, their prices and they clearly weren't hurting for business. The restaurant in question has been around for well over 120 years.

Maybe it was just me but... the paint scheme screamed Disney. 😃

Therefore, no refunds will be given within two days of any shore excursion. Tours require minimum participation levels to operate so please sign up as early as possible. Tours operate rain or shine. Online booking and cancellations will close seven days before your cruise sets sail. During this seven-day pre-sail period, you can cancel items by calling us. Once you arrive on board, you will have the ability to manage your shore excursions again, with one exception—all shore excursions that occur during the first two days of sailing will be non-refundable. Please note, whether an optional tour is booked through My Viking Journey or on board, refunds are only processed on board and will be applied as a credit toward your shipboard account balance. Should you have a negative balance at the end of your voyage, the refund toward your credit card will be processed on board. Please allow 14 business days for this to reflect on your statement.

No, you will receive on-board credit for any canceled/missed excursions. This of the type that if not used by the end of your cruise, will be credited back to your credit card. This assuming the original payment was via a credit card.

A mear 25 inches? Barely more than two feet! I can sense pearls being clutched as I type. 🙂

Yes! Never sailed the Mediterranean in July so I can't speak to how well the HVAC can keep up when faced with extreme heat. Have been to Bermuda in July and our cabin stayed as cold as we wanted it. Do note that if you open your balcony door the HVAC turns off.

This, and it is only my humble opinion, is because we most often receive answers heavily weighted by opinion rather than factual information. YMMV
