  1. Today I finally got my TIER offer, looks like usEuropeans had to wait a few days extra but never mind 🙂 I am wondering if I can just email Club Royale and have my annual cruise applied to an already booked (and paid for) cruise that I have in Nov this year? Would it be possible to get a refund minus port fees and taxes and still keep the same bookingnumber or do I need to cancel this cruise and book it as a new casino tier cruise?
  2. Indeed they are on the look out.. got my post deleted when I joked about this 😂
  3. My then almost 20 year old daughter spent almost every night in the casino but was somewhat annoyed that she couldn't buy a drink herself and said that her next cruise would be out of Europe if she wasn't 21 then 😂
  4. Interesting, I thought that you were automaticly logged out from one machine when tapping and logging on to another?
  5. This is an option I am considering. Booking the cheap tickets just in case. The 60 eur possibly lost is nothing but I am afraid the stress might affect my last day on the cruise. The only risk is that it could be expensive to buy tickets for the following day with such short notice if we don't make the flight home on debarkation day.. But I think we will spend one night in Bercelona before flying home on Tuesday just to be on the safe side.
  6. Unfortunately its not. It's a lowcost Spanish airline that only fly Mon, Wed and Sat from Barcelona to Gothenburg Sweden. The flight on Wed cost 60 eur, still cheap but I can't really take 3 full days off the week after the cruise since we will take 7 days before the cruise in Greece.
  7. Thanks for all replies. It is a 3 hour direct flight to my destination in Europe, thats why I was considering it. Not that I can't afford the higher price later in the day (or the day after) but I am a sucker for great deals and at 30 EUR per person a direct flight was tempting vs a non direct 5-6 hour 250 EUR flight later in the day. I don't think I will do it however just because that would spoil the last evening on the ship, no drinking, needing to go to bed early and be off the ship very early and stressing to the airport. This is something I have to accept when traveling at work but not when on vacation 😂Will probably spend a night in Barcelona and fly home the day after instead.
  8. We have a cruise on Enchantment ending in Barcelona the 13th of Nov and I wonder if it is possible to make an international flight departure from BCN airport at 10.10? I know we need to be there two hours early but I have also read that people have selfdisembarked at 5-6 in the morning. The tickets I am looking at is dirt cheap, 30 eur per person instead of 200-250 eur each in the afternoon or the day after...
  9. Eu rules might be more favorable when cancelling but usually much more expensive than the US rates, sometimes no big difference but sometimes a LOT more expensive for the same cruise 😞 I get that smaller national currencies can bring higher prices than US pricing but when a cruise is almost 50% more than if quoted on the Royals US page it really disturbs me. What would the price be if a US cruiser and a non US cruiser decided to take a cruise together? Us price or non US price?
  10. Yes, that will be very interesting to see. I have made bookings on Royals Swedish website and also have a booking for comped casino cruise. The casino cruise is stated in US dollars and my "normal" booking is stated in Swedish currency (SEK) Same in the cruise planner, if I wan't to buy anything on the casino cruise its stated in $ and for my normal cruise in SEK. Also I wonder what will happen if we non US cruisers book a cruise on nextcruise, will we be quoted the US rate or the rate from our countries of residence?
  11. My last offer is 23VAR406 and is says "1 COMP GUEST IN A DOUBLE OCEANVIEW OR INTERIOR" I hope this isn't becoming the standard in the future.
  12. How old are your daughter? I assume she is younger than 18? My 19 year old daughter was NOT happy that she didn't get matched to our two last cruises done after she turned 18 but her 17 year and 11 month brother was 😂
  13. This is a very good suggestion and something I use to do when someone is not respecting my personal space. Not holding a hand or arm over my mouth either but right at them. Complains? Well dont stand so close that I can feel your breath then..
  14. How would they know? All that is needed is that she claims him as a partner, or significant other. If she lives in his place or he in hers Royal have no clue of..
  15. I agree 100%. Also the whole system with one price advertised and then a mandatory tip (exluded) made me confused in the beginning. Drink price at 14$ + 18%tip? Then IMHO it isn't $14 but $16.52. Same thing with DBP at $72 + 18%, why even advertise it at the lower prise when the real price you have to pay is $84.96? But I am used to it now but it still doesn't make sense to me.
  16. Atleast for us buying from Royals European website they are included, but specified and not able to deselect when booking a cruise. (Of course it is possible on ship to remove them but not when buying, need to be prepaid in full)
  17. I bought tickets for my two kids, almost 18 and 19 and they weren't really impressed. Said that they have been to better waterparks in Spain. And as a European I can only imagine the US waterparks...(well I actually don't need to imagine, I have seen them on youtube..) They spent maybe one or two hours there and then explored the island on their own. I am happy that I got the tickets for about $50 almost a year in advance on a black friday sale because they both said that it was not worth $100 each even if they didn't pay for it themselves.
  18. No shaming here, just saying that ANYONE that doesn't prepay gratitues AND tip atleast $50 a day to the room attendant and $20 a day each to the waitor, assistant waitor and headwaitor in the MDR is a cheapskate... 😉
  19. Its stupid of any business to do this since it would just lead to more waste. It is counterproductive to get customers to take things they dont want since they will probably take more and throw more away.
  20. Happened to me last year, I saw that it was the approximately the same prices for ALL different cabins, from inside to the largest suites on Symphony sailing from Miami the 2 Dec 2023 and guicky booked AND payed deposit for a 2 Bd Aqua Theatre Suite for 4 persons. I even got some friends of ours to do the same and in it took a little over a month for RC to correct the price. I checked in daily to both the app and RC website and was astonished by my bargain, untill one day when it said that i was due over $ 30K 😂 A call later and they just said that they were sorry but there had been some "website errors" during the day I booked. I understood that and never argued with them, but it would have been a dream come true to get that suite for the price of an interior. 😂
  21. I ca't se anything wrong in bringing both the wife and the girlfriend in the same cabin...?
  22. I wonder at what age Royal consider people adult in regards to adult only beach. 14 as in the Solarium? 18, 21?
  23. Interesting subject in many ways.. I wonder if my wife goes with a girlfriend, cant they just say that she is her significant other and claim that she lives on our adress? ( I have never ever heard that they want proof of someones adress, we moved 3 years ago and Royal still have our old adress on file, doesn't matter since we get everything by email from them) If my wifes girlfriends husband later cruises with his wife will he then get her status? Significant other doesn't have to mean that people are intimate, right? Could be a very dear friend (or lover) what adults do or not do is no ones elses business, right? How to interpretate significant other? Have anyone succeded to get someone elses status by claiming to be a significant other when already being registered to someone?
