I wonder if we all gave the desserts low grading after the cruise in the cruise reviews they send out if anything would change?

Go to the bar onboard and purchase it for one person only. I am not 100% sure but have heard that it is only when prepurchasing the DBP all persons in the same cabin needs to purchase a drink package, not when buying it in a bar onboard. However be aware that it will probably be more expensive onboard. Probably to the extent that it costs the same as a DBP and a Refreshment package together if prepurchased.

I agree 100% most of the desserts look fantastic, but tastes VERY blend. I am a really big sucker for cheesecake but rarely ever takes more than one or two bites out of my plate and wonder how they could fail so miserably with cheesecake when even the "kits with just add water" you can buy in the grocery stores and make yourself tastes better. Unfortunately I am to well behaved to answer honestly when they ask me how everything tasted...

To which they would respond somethink like "no, you have a really exceptionally beautiful face, BUT due to weather, climatechange, aging (whatever) you will need to take care of that face with this special lotion that is actually on sale right now for only $99.99 +tax and 18% excluded gratuites... But I will not judge anyone that find it hard to resist the sales pitch, my wife went for the "sale" of some face lotion for "only" $70 dollar when she had a leg waxing on Freedom a few years ago... (what ever facelotion has to do with legs, I don't understand..)

Its also mostly a US thing, in Sweden checks disappeared in the early 90:s (together with traveller checks) and banks don't issue or accept them anymore. I belive its the same in most of Europe now. Everything is electronic these days, card, direct transfer or pay, even cash is slowly with many shops or restaurants now declare themselves "cash free"

I am considering taking a 4 day Bahamas cruise from Fort Lauderdale or Miami to get the needed 7 points to reaching Diamond before my next "real" 7 night cruise in August. But to do so would need an upgrade from an OV or interior (which I have many offers from Club Royale) to a Junior Suite and I wonder what the approximate cost for that upgrade would be on a 4 day, mon-fri cruise on either Freedom from Miami or Independence from Fort Lauderdale? I am halfhearted considering this, to travel into Florida some days earlier to squeeze a possible 4 night cruise in before our 7 night anniversary cruise. Has anyone upgraded a comped 4 night cruise or have any idea about what it would cost? Also this would almost make it a B2B but not really since we would disembark on friday and board on saturday so I don't know if the C&A status would have time to reflect the new status before the second cruise started. Possibly the C&A folks onboard could help with that?

Yes they do if you ask the waiter. If my 18 year old son hadn't been as big as I am and in better physical shape than I am he would be in for a spanking later that night for telling the waiters behind my back that it was my birthday... 😂

You are correct, my wife bought a facial cream by the girl giving her a massage and she promised her a "youthful" skin but all that happened was that I was about $70 poorer and my wife had a minimal can of some cream in... I still tease her about that 😂 (But of course I forget to mention my casino losses....)

Well, theoreticly it should work. The rules doesn't say anything about being married or negative things about bigamy... as long as you claim that your roommate is a "significant other" when booking the cruise and putting them on your adress it should work.. I have never heard that RCL wants a paper or proof about a cruisers actual adress when booking a cruise.

There are several great things about RCL but a few that I can think of: 1. You can not overeat on lobstertails for free anymore on lobsternight. Good for your health. 2. You will have to make several long pauses when you eat in the MDR to talk to your waitor and listen to his stories. Good for digestion not to eat too fast. 3. You will not be fighting your way through the crowded Concierge lounge anymore. Good for your and suiteguests mood. There are many other good things but these are a the ones I came to think of right now 🙂

Nothing before Adventure in Aug from Fort Lauderdale, sitting here in the snow in Sweden I am thinking of reasons to ignore all the logical reasons for not paying expensive airfare to jump on a 4 day casino offer cruise.. After all, sun is healthy for us who live in the dark 4-5 months of the year, the cruise would be free, and jetlag can be treated with melatonin....🤪

Finally got my refund today, however one purchase was refunded in two payments which is a little odd

This is a concern for me aswell as a European/Swedish cruiser. I have gotten price reductions but those cruises were back in 2017 and earlier and 2 this year but booked under Cruise with confidence campaign. Now I have two cruises booked, one was a real bargain, price is now double so I doubt it will go lower than what I booked for and the other is a casino comped cruise but if this is the new policy for Europe I will consider using a US travelagency next time.

I am so sorry for your mother, my father is 83 and in a similar downspiraling condition. We have to be happy and graceful for every moment they are still with us and try to talk and meet with them as much as we can (even if life, work, kids to often takes all our available time)

Also I belive that most tables are 6/5 now instead of 3/2
