  1. I was on a Majesty of the Seas cruise from Miami back in 2010 and had an argument with my wife when she was telling me I was drinking to much one evening in the casino..
  2. Yes, that is a big WOW! Not to sound sexist here but one part of me wants to say Well done SGT! 😂😂
  3. Not always so obvious thesedays... I have a friend that is 55 and have a 4 year old son. A female coworker of mine that is 39 just became a grandma, her son is 22..
  4. That would be really cool, better than the climbing wall IMO. When did they have this? Must have been many years ago?
  5. He will if they claim he has the same adress as the primary and is a "significant other" But not worth it for any status lower than diamond IMHO.
  6. If we could have a wishlist of things gone by, what would you like to have back? I would love for the midnight buffets and ice sculptures to make a return. It felt so luxurious on our first cruise, Jewel back in 2008 to visit the midnight buffet and marvel at the wonderful ice sculptures and carved watermelons.
  7. It sure is expensive to be drunk on a cruiseship 😂
  8. Our Nov -23 Enchantment sailing that we booked last summer got its cabin assigned almost immedeately.
  9. Got offers every monday on the clubroyales webpage regulary from last June until until a few months ago when they suddenly stopped exactly on the week 8 months after my last cruise.. don't know if that matters but will be interesting to see if they start comming again after next months cruise. I am prime.
  10. I am based in EU and have ordered from Amazons us page before it became available in Europe. It works but there are long shipping times and the duty and sales tax makes it doubtful if you will get it to your hotel in time. Check if you can order from Amazons German or Italian webpage instead for local (EU) delivery without any extra fees. You use the same accoubt, just go to their .de or .it site instead.
  11. It is available for Anthem returning to Southampton in Aug atleast. I am also curious about how late one can stay onboard.
  12. No, I was a little stressed out because of the 48 hours timeslot to pay considering the different timezone we are in. When I got the email it had already gotten almost a day, that means I have a day to pay, which ruled out emailing them and asking. I have no problems speaking English on the phone but didn't know what number or who to call in the US since I can't call 800 numbers from my phone. But it worked out and now I am really looking forward to this cruise 🙂
  13. I was there last year in September and even if it was a nice experience it took all day and we never had time to even take a stroll in Nassau when we came back. We had booked the dolphin encounter but the day before the excursion they postponed the trip to an hour later. I think we left the dock at about 11.00. The boat trip took about an hour including waiting 20-30 min before leaving the dock. When we came there they said the stingrays "weren't cooperating" so we were given the choise of free lunch or dolphin encounter instead. We choose the dolphins, a bargain for the $40 per person we payed. The island was nice, but only the lagoon beach was open due to the weather. It made no sense since the water was calm and there was no wind, but still. It was nice, not to croweded. Our only complaints is that there was only one boat back, at a set time. And when we came back to the pier we had about 30 min left before boarding. I think we left at 4.30 in the afternoon so it took all day. It was nice and worth it but we would have liked the option of going back at 2 pm since a few hours there was enough for us.
  14. I am replying to my own thread here incase someone else from Europe (outside of UK) needs to know how to pay for a comped cruise. It wasn't easy, I called the UK number for Club Royale but I suspect that I got to the normal RCL cruise booking department since the guy said he couldn't help me at all since it was a US booking. I made the request on the Club Royle page. I suppose that makes it a US booking? I rang again and choose option to press 1 this time instead of 2 (existing cruise or something like that instead of new cruise) and in hope of talking to some other person. Bingo, I talked to a nice girl that also said she couldn't take my payment but she did help me so that the cruise showed up under my cruises when logged in to Royals page. She said I could pay the $220 portfees and taxes there. 15 mins later I see that the option to pay online is grayed out.. Called the Club Royale number in the US and got in a 45 min wait where I heard about Oasis and the aquashow atleast 10 times.. I am curious about what my phone bill will be with this call from Sweden 😂 She was very nice and helped me taking my payment in less than 3 mins. So now I am finally looking forward to taking a almost sold out >$3000 cruise for free (well, except for the taxes, tips and fees) 🙂
  15. I just ordered this course yesterday 🙂 Cost $36 per person on Anthem in August. I really hope it will improve my sushi making skills, now my own home made sushi looks like a 5 year old child have made it...
  16. Or do I just call the normal (Swedish) Royal Caribbean number and pay or can't the normal booking department handle Club Royale bookings?
  17. Today I got a confirmation mail from Club Royale that I had gotten a confirmed reservation on a cruise I applied my annual Prime cruise for and it said that I need to pay portfees and taxes for $220 within 24 hours and I want to do that as soon as possible since I consider this cruise almost as a jackpot. It would cost me about $3000 otherwise. It's a 7 day cruise out of Southampton in August on the Anthem. But my question is HOW do I pay these $220? I tried to connect the cruise with the reservation number after loging in on Royals website but it doesn't show up. I try to connect the missing cruise again and it says its already connected.. I live in Sweden and can't call the American 800 numbers to Club Royale and in the email it didn't say anything about HOW to pay, just that I need to do it, and within 24 hours. I can't reply to the email either and I think sending an email to club Royale will take several days for them to answer. As they usually do.. How do other people pay their portfees and taxes without calling Club Royale, or is it not possible to do online?
  18. I am going on Enchantment the last trip in Europe before she goes on a west bound TA and wonder if there are Craps in the casino when she is in Europe? Last year I went on the Voyager and she did not have a craps table but she came from Asia so I heard that they never have craps tables in the ships when doing tours in Asia. But then someone told me that they (usually) remove the craps tables in ships that are sailing in Europe during the summer due to low demand for that game. Does anyone have any current info about craps now on Enchantment? (it's generally not that easy to find craps games in Europe except in London or the French Riviera and I really love the game)
  19. And all this could have been avoided if the previous guests only shaved or waxed their lower regions properly... 😉
  20. Are you a little drunk maybe ? 😉 If I wanted someone sent home, would I tip them well ?? 😂😂
  21. I am curious if bartenders have the right to offer a free drink or soda to customers they like? I have had times when I ordered two drinks, a cocktail for my wife and a beer for me in the Theatre bar and only I had a DBP, not my wife and I specificly said to the bartender, put the beer on me and I will pay for the cocktail. He blinked with his eye and said Don't worry, I will put them both on your card. This was my second round, I had ordered a beer earlier and tipped $10. Another time was when neither of us had the drink package and paid for every drink. I really liked the bartender and usually tipped her betwen 5$-20$ every evening on the first drink and the last two days she never charged for my wifes diet coke at all. I doubt that they are breaking the rules so I am thinking that they might have the right to offer customers free drinks if they pay for them themselves? (out of the tips of course)
  22. So you are saying that every churchgoer that drinks the sacramental wine early in the sunday mornings are alcoholics? ðŸĪŠ
  23. Very annoying, have happened to us several times, no attendant in sight, I just called guest services and asked for them to send a bucket of ice then. Will give $20 on the first day next time and say I always want a full bucket of ice (or two)
