  1. In our experience the older ships razor outlet only works with the bathroom light on. If the switch is off the outlet is dead. We have a 5 year old and Voyager definitely did not work last year nor is Serenade currently.
  2. Still storage at the moment. Rumored to be a work space for the WC.
  3. I asked a couple of the contractors I ran into today what they were working on. The answer was wifi infrastructure. They said it's not on yet everywhere. But it's almost done. We have a brand new Cisco WAP in our ceiling. Really can't complain about the wifi compared to the old stuff.
  4. I was told all the new beds are in place. I can visibly see about 25 sets staged on deck 12 in the space over the centrum ceiling. We asked for a topper from our attendant just because. She happily delivered the first night. We sleep on a Stearns plush pillow top at home and I would give these a solid 6 compared to our home set. They are much softer than the other sets. Still a little firm but comfortable with the traditional topper. I don't think the topper has changed. It still feels like an upgraded mattress protector. I would bring my own just to be safe rather than sorry. It is obvious work around the ship is continuing on a daily basis with little to no impact to guests. I haven't located a potential laundry spot yet... It seems much of the staff I have asked are herw for 1/3 to 1/2 the W/C. Deduction has led me to believe they are changing staff as close to the home countries as possible amongst those I've asked. Any other questions let me know.
  5. Your room attendant will be Mirafe for the first 3rd of the WC. She is amazing and extremely nice.
  6. Currently warming up 8002 for you on the repo. Had the cooler swapped out. The old one was not working even after unplugging the unit and blowing copious amounts of dust out of the fins in the back. Replacement works really well! The storage is crazy. We brought five 49lb suitcases for 3 people and still have 6 empty drawers and 3 empty cabinets. The room is fairly spacious and the new beds are much better than the other ships we have been on. Is there anything you want to know specifically about the room or photos of anything (or area) in particular?
  7. I matched in the same program this January. I simply sent a screen shot of my C&A page. In JPEG format.
  8. We had a similar experience this year with our 4 year old and a Catamaran sail booked with Royal. We ended up having the Shore ex desk check with the tour operator. As it turned out the age restriction was because they didn't have life vests approved for children. We had brought our own CG approved vest. She was allowed to go. I do agree with most others that they probably won't check again.
  9. I agree. We were on for two weeks in November. No Laser Tag to be found.
  10. Very similar. We have tried both this year. We actually prefer Paradise over Nachi. We thought Paradise had better food and the pool in our opinion was nicer. Although the daily guest limit at Nachi is a plus. Also, Paradise is a little closer. It was a $16.00 cab ride for four people and about 15 minutes.
  11. I vote "do it!". Just be prepared that you'll be doing a Live at the same time as the big guns over on Oasis. Every piece of information helps grow the community!
  12. I am curious to see your observations as the week goes on. I do hope things have gotten better since our B2B on Voyager in November when she first arrived in SJ.
  13. The no frills option. No picking your room and no picking your dining time.
  14. We disembarked yesterday and it took 2 hrs to uber 4.5 miles. He's not kidding about it being crazy. As he said we also ended up paying $162.00 due to "surge pricing" from uber. Our quote when we called for the car was originally $39.00. Also be aware there are signal jammers all around the terminal and it can be difficult to call and have a car find you. It worked but also took 50min for our car to get to us because of the marathon.
  15. I will post the full 2 weeks schedules after we get home and settled under a new topic. Eastern and western Caribbean schedules.
  16. Going slowly this morning. Still calling 1 to 7.
  17. We paid 195 for 2 weeks so that factors in. My wife felt it was crowded at times and cleaning not kept up with many days.
  18. Here's a photo of the outlets and kids menu. The kids menu is the same every day for dinner. There's also a breakfast menu but I missed the photo opportunity.
  19. 2 European, 2 American 110 and 2 usb (1 labeled high power). Also 1 usb next to the bed. We have 1 day remaining and I'll try to get the kids menu from the mdr. My kids eat the same thing every day so I'll try to get a photo for you.
  20. No we didn't. Symptoms are different and more pronounced. Very few people from the other side of the pond cover their mouth when they cough. It's really no wonder. I have seen sick staff working support positions in dining as opposed to front facing. Example is our asst. waiter. Mid week last he started out with sniffles and Tuesday he was moved to clearing tables in the buffet with a mask. 2 of 4 of us have gotten whatever it is. Maybe RSV type? Wife and son started on day 3 last week and it has not cleared to date. I was told last week that 700 was the b2b count. No idea if that was correct but there were a lot of b2b pax in the meet up on Sunday. As a side note at embarkation on the 15th they did not even collect the health questionnaire from anyone.
