  1. No. Only electric shaver outlet. You will need to bring a battery operated nightlight.
  2. Yes, absolutely you can pay $1000 on your Amex for your existing 2025 cruise and get the $250 credit. Be sure to accept the Amex offer before paying.
  3. Just started reading about the world points upgrade. This is a great option for a long expensive cruise. How often do they run 25000 bonus points? Do they ever do more than 25K?
  4. Thank you so much for your detailed review. We are trying MSC for the first time at the end of August on the 4-day Bahamas. I really felt like you were really enjoying your cruise until your last couple of posts. I, too, would be furious if I got the smoking letter…especially since the smokers ruined your balcony time AND they told you who reported you. Not good! We are NCL loyal…but their cuts in quality, entertainment and service while aggressively increasing price have caused us to look elsewhere. would your opinion of cruising MSC again be different had you not done the 4-day extension?
  5. Dining…not having to cook or clean up. Room attendant making up your room each day with fresh towels. Entertainment galore. Bar drinking with no fear of DUI…lol. Beautiful destinations without a hassle of driving or flying to each. Gosh, I hadn’t realized why I love cruising so much.
  6. We sailed NCL Prima from NYC in early May. Larger ship than Summit…by about 50%. We had a forward facing balcony and the outbound days the seas were VERY rough…tossing you from side to side as you walked to your cabin. We knew that this could be an issue so we took meclizine each morning. We weren’t bothered at all. Others were.
  7. I did that a couple days ago and all I saw was phone numbers…but I just did another search snd found the site. Thanks.
  8. Does the website also show status for renewals? What is the web address?
  9. Upgraded internet may also work…again done through PCC or TA.
  10. Maybe have your PCC or TA add prepaid DSC. If you try to do it yourself you have to pay for it right away.
  11. Or maybe feign interest and flash the watch and Diamond ring🤣
  12. Half is better than none…and I hope you get the side with the food and servers delivering bar drinks. Yay for the non VIP guests.
  13. @APDMOM THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DETAILED BEACH REVIEW!! I am certain it will help so many people like me.
  14. While it was annoying and disappointing to have the Vibe chartered, the Vibe was an added amenity for a handful of guests willing to pay for it. The Observation Lounge is a public space for all guests and part of the package the guests purchased. This space being chartered for the entire cruise is unacceptable IMO. ..especially on a Northern Europe itinerary. I’d definitely be in the Guest Services line looking for OBC. And, I would also contact NCL corporate on my return. Good luck snd sorry for your inconvenience.
  15. I foresee an NCL cruise in your future.🔮🎱🥠. In all honesty…find a future cruise, book it and enjoy every minute. Find a cruise in shoulder periods around 120 days out (plus/minus 140-121 days out), and you may find the best pricing. Just my opinion after watching pricing for awhile. Again…you won’t find a deal cruising in high demand periods. But if able to cruise shoulder periods…you can optimize your CruiseFirst certificate. It’s not a loss..just a deposit on a future adventure. happy cruising.
  16. That is NCLs new cost cutting initiative. Reusable Dailies.
  17. Oh my. I promise it is not the wine. Correct word from post #83 is not “quanta time, nor is it “qualitative . The CORRECT WORD for mathematical based research is…QUANTITATIVE. OMG…this was way to hard to make a point. I’m giving up now…lol.
  18. Yikes…auto correct is dumb. Correct word was qualitative. Means opinions that can be quantified by mathematical methods. Qualitative is more about groups of people’s opinion.
  19. Yes, the quanta time survey…but nowadays, the social media qualitative is just like holding a focus group. Both very informative and powerful.
  20. Actually I am one who believes that posting on social media and review sites is very powerful…AS long as it is addressed early with those who can fix it onboard. Corporate PR and marketing monitor social media posts. They don’t like to see negative posts. Enough posts about similar topic will raise red flags.
  21. After years of business snd leisure travel, staying in budget to luxury hotels, I will say not every stay was perfect. There are way too many scenarios that could have caused the room steward to miss some routine cabin turnover items. We are so quick to place blame. Contact your room steward, request the items be rectified and get on with enjoying your vacation. If, you find that the service doesn’t meet acceptable standards (yours) then speak with housekeeping lead. You really need to be worried if the entire hotel or ship is lacking cleanliness…that’s a whole different story. Would I be happy if I were in your situation…probably not. But I’d move on from it. Eventually NCL will begin to see via reviews and staff turnover if some of their 2023 cuts are accomplishing their desired outcome. So, on one hand, thanks for posting on CC your thoughts…and on the other hand, have some grace for the steward…and get to enjoying your cruise. I’d trade places with you…lol.
