I had the AARP OBC added to both durect bookings and TA bookings. The person who did it said (very nicely) that she would send me updated invoices so I could see the OBC, but that I would need to contact TA for the ones they held. She applied the OBC, but I had to get invoice from TA.

You can also get them at Explorations and Oceans Bar. However, the ones at Oceans aren't as good due to quality of shots used. Enjoy!!

I have been right next to the glass elevators on a couple ships and never heard a peep from the elevators themselves. Only noise we've heard is the occasional loud group- laughing, etc, which is limited to the amount of time it takes the elevator to arrive/depart.

Same - nothing but cointdown til on board. But the countdown is inspiring!

Yes they hold an amazingly large amount - key to maximizing how much you can fit in is to roll your clothes rather than just stuffing.

Hey @golfbagger be sure you're logged in using your HAL credentials when checking for rates; otherwise, you'll see the higher "public" rates rather than any discount rate you're eligible for. Also, be sure you click deep enough to see the cabin type you're pricing as that's when the rate will change. Up until then, you'll see the higher rate and not know there's a lower one available to you. If it doesn't change, that just means there's no special rate for you. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

Aligned with Mary229 - on HAL, you can't see flights without a booking. When you call FE, first thing they ask for is your booking number, but it may be worth a call to see if they'll give you options.

Thank you!! CCL spent enormous amounts of monies to "ready" the Venezia for the American market, including things like removing wax sculptures, but couldn't prioritize the buffet? Wouldn't bother me to see a blob of wax or two if it meant I could eat food while it was still hot without the sideshow of insulate passengers. Seems there surely is more brainpower among CCL leaders...

Sailing from NOLA is interesting - takes forever (it seems) to actually get out and into open water. DH swears we won't fit under the bridge, but we always seem to make it - never yet had to let the air out the tires, lol. Patti should get some great pictures!!

Aligned with @BobbiSox you don't have to give up your current balcony - just add a 2nd cabin. If you call in to do it, they can likely help you locate one close by, or even adjoining, quicker than you can going through the site. Safe travels - enjoy your special girls cruise!

I've read about the towel animal parade, but have never seen it, so thanks to all who shared. They are lovely works of art and I agree that the extra early morning start for them has to be tough so hopefully they are around to see all the smiles and receive some thanks. Those are the special moments that make HAL memorable. We're going to make a point of going by on our next cruise in hopes of seeing the show! On a holiday cruise after the start up, our cabin steward had a different one on his cart everyday that he "dressed" with Christmas glam - we took a picture every day and he would always run over to the cart to get in the picture.🤗

Numerous posts about people buying gift cards from Cherry on Too to use up remaining OBC. You could try calling in to have passenger services process the payment. if it doesn't work, you can ask them about it. Good luck and let us know the outcome.
