This part I really don't get. it's not like you have to get off the ship as soon as it docks! Getting ashore early is an OPTION that I sometimes take advantage of and appreciate.

I travel solo, but I don't go to solo meets. I have however noticed that there has been daily solo meets every day around 5-6 pm on the ships I've been to. They seem to go to dinner in MDR together (for those that want to, of course!). I've been on Spirit, Star and Gem. None of them have Studios.

As a European I don't have the option to buy/use CruiseFirst so I go and buy my 2-4 CN on one of the first cruise days to have it done and not think about it any more.

CN no longer expires. For balcony and above you almost always can apply 2 certificates if the cruise is at least 4 months away.

@European_CruiseGirl can you check if you have the same problem with your profile as I do? I put in my country, and save but when I check my profile the country is gone again. (Scrolling all the way down to Sweden sucks, but i can live with that if it actually worked...) I think that is what caused my payment issues. Your description is pretty much the same as what I went through! I wish there was somewhere to report these issues apart from calling.

I now see that my country (Sweden) keeps "falling off" my profile. I update, save, go back to check and it's gone again. NCL and their glitches...

Waking this topic to thank you! I have been so frustrated for a week or so, trying to get a payment through. Manually filling in the address, unclicking "same as..." made the trick! THANK YOU! I have no idea how come this became an issue. Everything worked well about two weeks ago. And then all of a sudden something broke. Anyway, next time it happens I'll know what to try!

I doubt it had anything at all to do with checking in. It probably just happens to be the same time frame. If indeed it is a show that can be booked. Not all are.

I'm not in UK but in EU but I'm sure it's the same for you as for me: nothing extra apart from what you pay for the package. Gratuities are included. (The package that is currently at half price for bookings made in the next few days. But it's only half price at time of booking so on an existing booking it's full price)

I noticed the same thing! So I checked what Gem (who did a lot of Canada/New England previously is doing the fall of 2025. And find nothing! So I think/hope more will be added! Sky (who also did some in that region) seems to be in Europe fall 2025

When is the cruise? I remember reading some time ago that the tram wouldn't open until May this year. Closed for staff education or something like that in April.

Yes. You can have an opinion about VALUE if what's on offer is of no interest to you. (Or if it is!) It's kind of academic though since, as you point out, one has to assume (whatever that does to you and me 😉 ) that the person asking the question actually has an interest in Vibe. Therefore, of course, any opinions from other "Vibe-people" should be valued many many times more than those of us "non-Vibers". I am now stepping away from this to not muddy up the thread even more. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree in this particular matter. And hopefully agree in others! 😄

Well, it's not $50 either... Price difference comes to 150x2=300 if I'm understanding things correctly. You are also comparing prices after final pay, possibly after price drops. You just cannot expect to take advantage of those the way you want to. Having said that, I'm in Europe so I'm not really familiar with USA terms and conditions.

I'm not the one you're responding to, but I disagree with your statement. I haven't experienced Vibe and I likely never will because I have no interest in what it offers. Therefore I know I would not be worth the cost TO ME! And I'm guessing to the person you're responding to. But of course for someone else it might be! Thank heavens we're not all the same! So while I disagree and think that you can have an opinion without having the experience, I do think just saying "no" like what was done is kind of pointless.

Many confused people not reading OP's post properly "help" in making this extra confusing... 😮 Anyway, you cannot compare procedures before and after final pay. This cruise is past final pay, so the "pay the difference" using a "price drop-price" as your guide should be out the window just by that fact. No automatic "cancel and rebook" without a penalty at that point! (Even though I'm sure it has been done many times. But still not required) The $800 quuote probably has a "cancel after final pay"-fee (or something of that nature) built in. Everyone, incuding OP, please drop the "slider thing". It has absolutely nothing to do with this! It could be that "slider maximum" IS the upgrade price, but no point in getting stuck on that!
