  1. We must be young then. No kids. We don't cruise on RCs floating amusement parks.
  2. We still cruise with RC but never cruise on the mega ships. Radiance class is our favorite size of ships.
  3. Never did RCs dynamic dining. It worked out for us on Celebrity. No line when we would show up for our 6:PM time but when leaving each evening (7:30ish) there was a line. Probably (?) the same for the other three MDRs.
  4. Agree. Same experience on our March Apex cruise. I made reservations in my CP pre cruise for Select Dining, 6:PM and once onboard we were advised the reservation wasn't valid at any of the four MDRs. Still went at 6:PM and requested the same two top each night (we decided to eat in the same MDR and order from the different menus) with no problem. All the E class ships run their four MDRs the same and it does work. The S & M class ships still do the TD and SD.
  5. We were on the Eclipse in October and saw people bringing a 12 pack of coke onboard when returning from the different ports, including embarkation day.
  6. When we cruise with Celebrity we always get the CBP. We both drink only the bottled water when having water and not the ships water. My wife still has ankle swelling. Not me.
  7. IMO, everyone is different and what effects swelling. My wife rarely adds salt to her food and drinks the ships water along with wine. I add salt to everything and drink the ships water, drink wine, beer and sometimes whisky (neat). My wife drinks coffee with breakfast and I never drink coffee. Neither one of us drink soda. She always wears compression socks when flying but not always on the ship or in port. Her ankles always swell and mine never do.
  8. We were on the 8 October Pacific Coastal cruise on the Eclipse and prime rib was on the menu the last evening of the cruise.
  9. I agree. We never had any issue pre shut down with MTD. However, the current way RC is managing MTD sucks and why we've switched back to TD even though we consider 5:30 PM to early. Prefer 6:00 PM start time.
  10. Any cat would be cool without any fur. Mrs. Whiskerson. 😁
  11. We never let others positive or negative opinions or experiences influence us.
  12. The plus about the CAS drinks loaded on your Seapass card is you order all your drinks from the bar menus instead of the old CAS HH beverage menus.
  13. Reserve the 6:45 or whatever time in your CP pre cruise for MTD. Two lines. One for reservations and the other for no reservations. The no reservation line is the one that is long.
  14. We prefer two tops. Some have been more private than others due to the location. We don't mind if the two tops are close to others. Still better than shared tables. We come and go as we please. We order when we are ready and eat at our pace. We engage in conversation with others if we want or if they want to. On our 8 October Eclipse cruise we had a two top. Hated the location (didn't even sit at it) and the MD couldn't get us another two top(?) for TD early. So we told him a shared table in a good location would be fine. We ended up at a table for 6 in a great location with two other couples. We were all on the same page. Arrive on time so we all could order at the same time. Worked out great. We were all about the same age and it was a fun table. Sometimes the last to leave the MDR as we were having too much fun talking and laughing. But still will always go for two tops.
  15. It resembles the past CAS beverage menu before the current drink program.
  16. Yes, The CC HH is only from 5 to 7:PM. Also the CC HH can't be ordered in any of the dining venues. You can bring your CC HH drinks in with you or leave to get another.
  17. Correct. It's always been that way.
  18. Look for two young good looking kids sitting at the VCL bar at approximal 5:PM enjoying a couple of pre supper drinks. That will be Pat and Bucky.
