  1. RC CAS as far as drinks is better than Celebrity. Drinks are any time of day and evening. Including all most bars and all the dining venues. The drinks you can order are from the regular bar menus. Any drink over $14.00 you pay the difference plus 18% gratuity. Diamonds get 4 drinks, Diamond + gets 5 drinks, Pinnacle gets 6 drinks per day. CAS drinks do not carry over. Use or lose the in the 24 hour time frame. We like RC for that and also a dedicated Diamond Lounge that has a great mini buffet style for pre diner snacks (hot and cold). The DL is open 24 hours. Wait staff are only in the DL for bar service during the CAS HH. 5 to 8 PM.
  2. @maggieq...I have received conformation pre covid. Haven't used the system since. Just the two of us so we go to the MDR (SD or TD) when we first board and find a two top in a location we like and request it. No problem.
  3. I clicked on the X and my final payment changed less that amount. Added the gratuities back and now final payment is back to what it originally is suppose to be.
  4. We also have the AI for our future cruises. Our final payments have not changed. I now have the option to remove (garbage can with an X in it) or add back the gratuity (plus sign) with AI. No way will I remove them. Gratuities and BP are 2 of the 3 components I like with the AI. Call whoever you booked with.
  5. Or you can Email all your questions, disappoints, concerns to; executiveoffice@celebrity.com
  6. Send your request about 2 weeks prior to your sail date. Works the same as with RC.
  7. Exactly why I never let others opinions or experiences, positive or negative have any effect on our future cruises or plans to book more future cruises. I like reading and respect what others have to say, but...
  8. Just the three. CBP or PBP, gratuities and Wi-Fi. No OBC like with the prior bundling option.
  9. Good to know. Prefer the printed version. Phone is always locked in the safe.
  10. We will be booking a RC B2B cruise for March 2025 while on out October 2023 Eclipse cruise.
  11. We would never book a guarantee or Royal Up no matter the length of the cruise. Not worth it to us. We like to select our own deck and cabin number not let RC do it for us. Doing a B2B and having to unpack, organize everything only to have to pack back up and unpack again and reorganize again, no way.
  12. Glad we aren't part of what you call the typical Celebrity crowd.
  13. According to @themob title to this thread they booked with a TA.
  14. FYI...https://www.celebritycruises.com/bid-on-cruise-room-upgrade
  15. No. You will need to go thru your TA for that.
  16. Are you sure? I've always had the option to select my wife or me or both of us. Regardless checking in separately will not create a problem for your or others in your group. BTW, the 10:30 time you selected is not your boarding time. The time is your check in time at the embarkation terminal and in most cases is no longer enforced.
  17. Try GS. They may. 😂
  18. Lett your voice be heard...executiveoffice@celebrity.com
  19. Those booking a future cruise onboard will now be charged a 20% service charge.
  20. Lets see, already tried charging for the mast grill 'burgers, now the cookies, both a bust. Maybe charging for pool side and theater seats. 😂
  21. Enjoy your first Celebrity cruise. 🍻
  22. We select the AI and before that we would select the better, best or whatever it was called bundled option. We liked the better, best as we got to pick from the four selections. Always did the CBP, gratuities and OBC. No need for the Wi-Fi then or now as our tier level minutes are way more than enough as we stay disconnected other than checking in with the airlines prior to the end of the cruise.
  23. Don't let others positive or negative opinions and experiences influence you that you read here on CC. Make those decisions/opinions based only on your personal experiences for your specific cruise. If you haven't already make sure you have your CC numbers assigned before boarding. Your RC tier level with Celebrity is reciprocals up to Elite.
