Contact Celebrity. I used executiveoffice@celebrity.com today concerning this subject and received a follow-up phone call. Readers digest version. "Thank you for your recommendation and thoughts. All suggestions are welcomed for future considerations". Suggest others do the same if you would like Celebrity and share your thoughts, concerns, disapprovals, etc. that Celebrity should consider going back to San Diego as an embarkation port and not just a port stop. CC is only a good place to vent/share your opinion(s) to a small group.

I've been a CC member since 2001 and from that time to today there has always been threads like this. I don't let what others experience (no matter the topic) positive or negative concern me. Everyone is entitled to that opinion based on their experiences and I respect that. I'll (we'll) make those decisions based on our experiences for that specific cruise.

Looking forward to all our five course meals in the MDR on the Eclipse in October. We were on the Apex in March with no complaints about our meals in the MDR. Including breakfast.

I've used the executiveoffice@celebrity.com with success with other questions and concerns I have had. I will continue with what has worked for me. What others elect to do is their choice.

Phone reps at Celebrity's call center. Just me, but I have no faith in their knowledge on most issues and this is one of them. I'll wait until after the 20th to see.

Freedom, Radiance and Voyager class ships. Out of those three, can't decide.

We would never book or not book a cruise line, ship, itinerary, etc. based on others positive or negative opinions or experiences. I enjoy reading about their cruises and respect what they say but never a deciding factor with our cruise decisions.

Just boycott the casinos. Of course that's easy for me to say as we don't gamble and would have no problem avoiding the casino to get to where we are going. Do it all the time on RC. But we are against the idea of vaping anywhere inside of Celebrity ships. I also have emailed the executive office when this vaping experiment first was reported here on CC.

No availability of a standard balcony close to the elevators? That would eliminate the long hallway walks.

Paying more for less. Nothing new no matter where or what we have been doing for the last 3 plus years!

Book a HA stateroom.

Only can speak for myself, yes. The BP and gratuities, yes. The Wi-Fi, no. Stay disconnected the entire cruise.

Same with our last two cruises on the Summit and Apex. Our glasses were always topped off. We even had to tell the Sommeliers no more. We make it easy on them. We drink the wine we prefer, not what they suggest/recommend. We tell the Sommeliers our choice(s) of wine(s) when he/she introduces themselves to us.

I've also noticed our OBC disappears shortly after the cruise is underway. I tell my wife about it and I need to speak with GS about it. She quickly say's I shouldn't bother them and tells me to go and have a beer or two you'll feel better. 😉
