  1. @Host Hattie Wishing I was sailing with you! Have fun, fun, fun!
  2. @bluemarble Beautiful picture! I can’t wait to find out where it is.
  3. I sure hope they can get them on QM2 by the time I board in 3 weeks!
  4. @Host Hattie I’m sorry your offer wasn’t accepted. @ExArkie We have been upgraded and received a new cabin number but kept the same confirmation number.
  5. I don’t know what the air service is from Vancouver B.C. to London, but I can’t imagine disembarking in Vancouver, traveling to Seattle, and then flying to London in one day. There are 2 BA flights out of Seattle to London each day. I don’t think you get to London early enough to get to Southampton for boarding. @MylesS We’ll see you onboard the Independence Day cruise!
  6. Many thanks @majortom10 and @Mercruiser if you have a chance to ask about port by the bottle.
  7. @D&N Just because it is on the list doesn’t mean it really exists. There are countless times we order wine only to have the sommelier return to say it is sold out. It happened in QG on December.
  8. Terrible behavior. Could alcohol have been involved? To have it happen twice is even worse. A Norovirus letter is icing on the cake. I hope your cruise improves.
  9. @exlondoner I have developed a dry cough, covid negative, for 3 months, and have decided to wear a mask on airplanes to avoid making people feel uncomfortable. Cough drops are always in my purse.
  10. @Dranuc2016 Very cool. Thanks for posting.
  11. @D&N If we were asked, “What is the one cheese always in your refrigerator?” Our reply would have to be Comte. I can’t imagine making an omelet without it.
  12. Hello dear wine friends! We’re debating bringing a good vintage port onboard with us or just buying a bottle. DH says there are good vintages on the list for a reasonable cost. Can someone see if these are really available? By vintage: are there 1994, 1997, 2000, and 2003 vintages available? Please don’t take the time to list which producers. Just look at the list and see if there are any of these years listed. Many thanks. - Susan
  13. Thanks for that information @majortom10.
  14. @Mercruiser How did you get from Marriott to the QM2? Would you advise pre-booking? Also, how long did it take? Thanks! (P.S. You missed nothing great in Spokane - we had thunder and lightening and a deluge of rain on Saturday)
  15. It takes a long time to run all of that cable through tight spaces. I wonder if this is one reason Stephen Payne has been on-board for several weeks. (I hope he stays on through June/July)
  16. @Host Hattie Let’s hope they get it up and running for you!
  17. We need to find someone from these boards who will be on QM2 on the next leg. @BklynBoy8 and I will be on her June 28. If no one else tests it prior to that I’ll buy a package if Starlink is available to see how it works.
  18. @Host Hattie Yeah, that bagel looks a little over cooked. I love duck in almost any shape or form.
  19. @exlondoner I am so sad to hear you’ve got Covid again. I hope it passes quickly and remains only as a cold. AND, I hope it warms up so you can go out on the deck. Sending you good thoughts.
  20. Happy Memorial Day to all in the U.S., especially any veterans who are reading. Thank you.
  21. @Host Hattie Happy Anniversary! I hope you had the smoked duck bagel because it sounds wonderful!
  22. @WantedOnVoyage Wow! What a story. I’m glad you were taken care of by the concierge.
